To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Drew Hento and I am writing to be considered as a student


teacher candidate in your district. I am a student at Dakota State University
and I am majoring in Elementary Education. I am also working towards
Minors in Educational Technology and Reading. I am very excited to begin
student teaching to complete my educational journey to become a teacher.

My courses at Dakota State University have been preparing me to work


with students. I have taken many specific courses in reading that I believe
have given me the tools to help students learn to read more effectively. I
have also taken many educational technology courses that have helped
equip me with many technological tools that I will want to integrate into my
lesson plans in the future. I am also interested in getting my coaching
certification so I can work with students in athletics.

I would be proud to be considered as a student teacher candidate for your


district. Thank you for taking the time to consider me for this position. I look
