* PRE CHECKING
1 Check the number of points in each room as per the electrical drawing.

2 Check the location of the electrical points.

3 Ensure that the height of all the boards and points is as specified.

4 Check the line, level, and alignment of battening/ casing-capping.

5 Ensure that the quality and specification of all the materials are as
approved.

6 Check the sizes of the boards as per the drawing.

7 Ensure that all the conduit pipe work is completed.

8 Check that all conduit pipe work filling is at the proper level and curing
should be done for conduit filling.
* POST CHECKING
7 Check the internal connections inboard for phase and neutral distribution.

8 Check the color codes and sizes of the wire used for various points.

9 Check the operation of all the switches for smooth working.


10 Ensure that there is no gap between the batten and the wall.

11 Ensure that rust proof clips are fixed.


12 Check the quality and tightening of all the screws with required spacing
and with proper gripers rawl plugs.
13 Check the earthing connections for effective working.

14 Check the supply for all the points by megger test and prepare the final
testing report.

15 Check all the points in staircase.


16 Check the wiring in the meter cabinet for quality, color codes of wires, a
gauge of wire, switches, connections in bus bar etc.

17 Ensure that the name of the flat owner is painted on the respective meter
and the main switch.

18 Check the sizes of cables for the required capacity.


19 Check the main supply for sufficient voltage.
20 Check the parking, street, lighting and all common supply.
