THE LION AND THE MOUSE

Once upon a time in a dense and quiet forest, heard a sound of a lion sleeping soundly inside
the big cave. Although he is the king of all animals in the forest, he is asleep all the time. Not
far from the lion's cave, there lived a tiny little mouse in a wooden hut. The little mouse does
not have any friends in the jungle. He spent his days playing in his small wooden hut. One
day, the little mouse walked around the jungle to find some food. Suddenly, he saw a very
huge cave in the middle of the forest. The inside of the cave was so dark and scary. It looks
like there is no one is living in that cave.

"Oh, oh. Look at that very very big cave. I wonder who would live in that cave?" Said the
little mouse.

The little mouse was so curious about that cave. Without doubt, he stepped his foot slowly
into the cave. Suddenly he heard a loud snoring sound from inside the cave.

"Oh no... i think i just heard the king snoring. I must go before the king see me here and eat
me!" Said the little mouse and he ran as fast as he could.

Suddenly, the king awakened and saw that there is little mouse in his cave trying to escape.
The lion was furious when he found out that a mouse had awakened him from his sleep. The
lion laid his huge paw on the little mouse and opened his mouth like he wanted to swallow it.

"(Growling) Who do you think you are? How dare you enter the cave of the king of the
jungle?"

"Oh, my king, king of all animals in the forest. Please, forgive and set me free. I didn't mean
to wake you up" The mouse squeaked.

"You woke me up. Don't you know im trying to rest?" The lion asked angrily.

"Please let me go this time, My king. I promise i will repay you someday" The mouse
begged.

"Ha ha ha ha ha. Repay me? Don't be so funny. You are just little creature that sneaked into
my cave. Even you are too small for me to eat you!" The lion laughed and laughed. But the
lion agreed with the mouse, he lifted his paw and let him off.

"Now go away before i changed my mind and eat you!" said the lion
The mouse ran as fast as he could and went back to his hut.

Sometime later, the lion was walking around the forest to hunt some animal for him to eat.
Suddenly two Hunters trapped him using a strong rope between the trees. He was unable to
free himself, so the lion roared in anger.

(Roaring)

The little mouse that still asleep suddenly awoke and recognize the lion's roar. Knowing that
the lion needs his help, he immediately ran as fast as he could to help him.

"Don't worry, my king. I am here to help you." The little mouse gnawed through the rope to
set him free. And finally the lion was free from the trap.

"Thank you for saving my life, little mouse." Said the Lion who didn't expected to receive
any help from little creature.

"Anytime, Lion. Now you know that even a tiny creature like me is possible to help a lion"
said the mouse

The lion thanked to the little mouse for helping him to get out from the trap. After that time,
they became best friend forever. The end.

From the story of The Lion and The Mouse, we can learn that we should not underestimate
someone just because they are small, because bigger is not always better.
