WORK METHODOLOGY

I. Site Verification and Engineering

1. All concerned personnel shall undergo Carmen Copper Corporation (CCC) Safety

Orientation prior to any activity.

II. Mobilization of manpower & delivery of tools, equipment & materials.

1. All delivery vehicles and personnel shall follow the traffic instructions such as, but not

limited to, speed limit, parking area, etc.

2. All workers to follow designated pathways when mobilizing on site.

3. All personnel must undergo safety orientation or induction as required by the customer.

4. Provide PPE’s to every personnel working on site

5. All work permits shall be accomplished based on the agreed High Level Risk Assessment

and Task Analysis prior to start of any activity.

6. Barricade and signage shall be installed at assigned lay down area.


III. Site Preparation prior to the Installation of New Supply Auxiliary Hoists

1. All safety requirements such as, but not limited to, task analysis and work methodologies shall

be submitted to Safety dept.

2. Hauling of Materials

 Use only approved hauling tools and equipment.

 EAT to assign watchman and traffic man during loading, transport and unloading of

materials from storage area to working area

3. Secure Permit-To-Work from end users

IV. Erection of Scaffold on the Girder

1. Performed LOTOTO procedure prior to the hauling of scaffold pipes and accessories

2. All personnel working at heights or in harness shall always be tied off; double

lanyards shall be used.

3. No person shall work at heights without a partner.

4. Safety officer shall be on the area always to ensure safe procedures are implemented.

V. Installation of Auxiliary Hoists

1. Used approved lifting equipment/tools during lifting activity.

2. When installation requires hot works, arrest fall of welding/ cutting flux with fire

blanket or any approved equivalent and assign fire watchman where hot work is to be

performed.

3. Lifting plans approved by CCC shall be followed for all lifting works.

4. Use only shackles, slings, and pad eyes in accordance with CCC standard.

5. Install items one by one as indicated in the approved layout.


VI. Electrical Works

1. All personnel/ electrician shall use approved insulated tools during electrical works.
2. Installation of cables
a. All cables to be used shall be approved by CCC Representative.
b. Cable pulling
c. Laying and harnessing of all cables
d. Termination and tagging of all power and control cables
e. Double check all cable connections
3. Installation of panels
a. Panels to be installed shall be of CCC standard.
b. Carefully position the panel to its location and check entrances dimension.

VII. Commissioning and Turn-over

1. Representative from both parties, EAT and CCC must be present during commissioning

And load test.

2. Punch list, when there is, shall be accomplished prior to project turn-over.

3. Secure COC/ Completion Certificate prior to demobilization.

VIII. House Keeping

1. Observe cleanliness at working area, preferably on a daily basis, and all kinds of waste
shall be properly be disposed.

2. Working area shall be cleaned from dismantled items and waste.
