lifting the brake lever causes of the brake lining and the boat
begins lowering. To stop or reduce the speed of the boxt in the
course of lowering or near the sea surface, slow down the remote
control in the boat or on the broadside, ‘The brake lining close
due to dead. weight of a counterweight on the brake lever,
thereby stopping boat lowering.

Required pay out length of remote control rope is @ half-longth of fall rope.
Because of the fall sope and the remote control rmpe are wound on combined drum and
have same revolution, it is very important to wind the corres length rope in
woll-ordored condition to get synchronized pay out longth between them.
If tho winding condition of the rope is voll ordored, the countor weight on the rope will
keep same distance from beat eenopy. If, However, it is not well ordered, pay out
length of remote centro! wire becomes somewhat longer than that of fall rope. This
means that the counter weight will clore to boat-tanopy.
2) Winding and adjusting procedure of remote control wire if possible carry out this work at the

Hoist up the boat hy driving winch, together with winding of remote control wire. At
that time, carefully assist the remote ccntrol wire in order to get wellordered winding.
At the stowing condition of boat, add two (2) turns of winding manually, and lead the
remote control wire into the boat via many sheaves,
Set the counter weight as skeiched below.
Lower the boat again to sea level, and confirm that an appropriate clearance is kept
