Copenhagen City Hall

The city hall of Copenhagen, Copenhagen City Hall, is located in the central and
pretty Radhuspladsen square, from which the famous Stroget shopping street starts.
The town hall building, built with red brick, was inaugurated in 1905, has a beautiful Romanesque style façade, and the element that attracts
the most attention is the enormous clock tower, which, with its more than 100 meters, It is one of the hallmarks of the building.

Statue of Bishop Absalon , founder of Copenhagen

The history of Copenhagen is largely linked to the figure of Bishop Absalon, who has an equestrian statue in a square next to the canals.
History books say that Bishop Absalon was in charge of creating the city of Copenhagen, as a control point and fortress in this area of the
Danish coast, in order to protect maritime traffic.

Nyhavn, the new port of Copenhagen

Without a doubt one of the most beautiful and well-known areas of Copenhagen, Nyhavn stands out for its beautiful colorful houses, and its
sailboats moored to the pier.
Amel Garden

Amelie Heaven is one of the city's green areas, and acquired this name thanks to its proximity to Amalienborg Palace.
The beauty of this garden, in addition to the views of the Copenhagen Opera, is the views it offers of the Amalienborg Palace and the Marble
Church. Copenhagen Opera House
Without a doubt, the Copenhagen Opera House is one of the most architecturally impressive buildings in the city, and one of the most beautiful
modern opera buildings in the world. This building, whose inauguration took place in 2005, is a huge building with 14 floors, 5 of which are
underground.

Amalienborg Palace

Amalienborg Palace is one of the residences of the royal family of Denmark, and is made up of four buildings or palaces. Built in the mid-18th century,
it is impressive to walk through the courtyard between the four palaces.

Marble Church

Frederick's Church (Frederiks kirke), which everyone knows as the Marble Church, is a Lutheran church commissioned by Frederick V of Denmark.
This church, which was built in two phases due to lack of funds, was not completed until 1894, 145 years after its construction began.

The most characteristic element of the church is its enormous dome, which, with more than 30 meters in diameter, was built imitating the famous
dome of Saint Peter's in the Vatican. The height of the church, at the highest part of the dome, reaches 50 meters, making it the church with the
largest dome in all of Scandinavia.
The little Mermaid

The sculpture of the Little Mermaid (Den lille havfrue) is one of the symbols of Copenhagen. This bronze statue, located on the Langelinie coastal
promenade, is one of the most visited points in the city.

with the performance of “The Little Mermaid” by Hans Christian Andersen.

Kastellet

Kastellet is an old fortified citadel, with a very special star-shaped construction. It is located next to the Langelinie promenade, and today it is a
beautiful park full of statues and old war material.
This old military fortification dates back to the 17th century, and served as the city's defensive bastion almost until the Second World War. Currently, it
is a leisure space, where some of the most interesting buildings of the fortress have been rebuilt and restored. There are still areas of Kastellet, which
continue to function to serve the Danish guard.

Tivoli Gardens
