BEAR EARS.
Cast on sts on the needle 22 stitches and knit
garter stitch 24 rows.
Take the yarn for casting on of sts with a margin so
that a tail of 25-30 cm remains.
Do not bind off sts.
Cut the yarn (leave a tail end of the yarn about 30
cm (12 in) long).
Insert this a tail end of yarn in the wool needle.
Fold the ear in half so that the ends of the yarn are
in the middle. Tie these two yarns together. The
ear is ready.
Slip the bear ear sts from the knitting needle to the
wool needle.
Turn the ear with the other edge up. Insert a tail
end of yarn in the wool needle. Tighten the edge
of the ear and fasten the yarn.
