GAME DESCRIPTION
BASICS OF THE GAME

• All versions of Baccarat game described in this manual, are played from a six-deck
card shoe, with up to six decs of 52 cards.
• All face cards (Jack, Queen, King) and 10's have no value. Cards less than 10 are
counted at face value, Aces are worth 1. Suits don't matter. Only single digit values
are valid. Any count that reaches a double digit, drops the left digit. 15 is counted
as 5 and 25 is also counted as 5. This rule is valid for all versions of Baccarat
described in this manual (Baccarat, Baccarat Super Six, Baccarat 7 UP, Baccarat
Power 98)
• To start the game, the players bet either on Player ,Banker, Tie or one of side bets
(depends of game version). Dealer deals from card shoe, and gives two cards to
Player, and two cards to Banker.
• First and third dealt cards are dealt to the player, second and fourth cards are dealt
to the banker.
• Specific situation is in Baccarat 7UP game, where Player's first card is not dealt, but
is fixed 7. So in this case, first dealt card goes to Banker, second to Player and th to
Banker.
• The object of the game is to bet on the hand, or side bet, that player thing will
have the highest total value (and becom a wining one).
• A third card may be dealt to either or both the player and the banker based on the
following third card rules. It is not necessary to learn these rules to play, they are
compulsory decisions and therefore automatic.
• After all cards are delt, the wining hand is the one who has higher point coutn
(value of cards in hand). Also wining side bets are Based on this result!
• When first four cards are dealt, and value of Player's or Dealer's hand is 8, or 9 no
more cards are dealt!

THIRD CARD RULE

In this chapter, the „Third card rule“ is explained. So it means when the player or Banker
gets the third card.

• Player's third card rule (D means DRAWS A CARD, S means STAND-third card is not dealt)

GAME TERMINOLOGY DESCRIPTION

• POINT COUNT , or total hand value, or value of hand is value of Player's or

Banker's cards (example PLAYER's cards are 2 and 3, PLAYER's point count is 5)
• HAND are cards dealt to Player or Banker
• SIDE BET is an optional bet, on which player can bet in addition to or instead of
main bet ( bet on Player, Banker or Tie ) .
• PLAYER is bet which wins in case when player's point count is higher then
banker's.
• BANKER is bet which wins in case when banker's point count is higher then
player's. Win on this bet has 5% of commision to house (it pays 0,95 to 1).
• TIE is bet which wins in case when banker's and player's point count are equal.
• PLAYER PAIR is side bet which wins in case when player's first two cards form a
pair (example two 5's, or two 10's)
• BANKER PAIR is side bet which wins in case when banker's first two cards form a
pair (example two 5's, or two 10's)
• SUPER SIX is side bet which wins in case when BANKER wins with point count of
SIX (6).
• 7 UP is bet which wins in case when inclusive of the mandatory 7 card dealt to the
Player's hand
• NATURAL 9 is side bet, which wins in case when the first two cards of either
Player's or Banker's hand have a point count of 9

• NATURAL 8 is side bet, which wins in case when the first two cards of either
Player's or Banker's hand have a point count of 8, and the hand is wining (the other
hand is not a natural 9)
• POWER BACCARAT 98 is a mode of Baccarat game, where Pay Tables change
when this mode is in effect (see Power Baccarat chapter).
• PLAYBOARD graphic user interface on Alfastreet terminal, on which player can
play the game

HOW TO PLAY
The only condition that player has to meet is, that the playboard, on which player wants to
play, has some credits on! Player can add credit to playboard by inserting banknotes in
billacceptor, by cashless system, by attendant, etc. It depends of configuration of
Alfastreet terminal on which player wants to play, casino's policy, or law restrictions.

BACCARAT

• Game is started, when message „Bets are open“ is displayed. After this, player can
place his bets. Bets are alowed till message „No more bets“ is displayed.
• After beting time is over, dealer deals four cards from dealing shoe. First and third
card will represent Player's hand, second and fourth card Banker's hand. After this
four cards are dealt, the third card for Player and banker will be dealt after „Third
card rule“, explained in Third card rule chapter.
• In the last phase of the game the wining hand is pronounced, and calculations of
wining bets and side bets are made. When all this is done, a new game can start

three cards from dealing shoe. First and third card will represent Banker's hand,
second card Player's hand. After this three cards are dealt, the third card for Player
and banker will be dealt after „Third card rule“, explained in Third card rule chapter.
• In the last phase of the game the wining hand is pronounced, and calculations of
wining bets and side bets are made. When all this is done, a new game can start

• In this game mode, player can bet on:

• Player Pair
• Banker Pair
• Game is started, when message „Bets are open“ is displayed. After this, player can
place his bets. Bets are alowed till message „No more bets“ is displayed.

• After beting time is over, dealer shake a dice in shaker three times. Then pass
shaker to player with higher value of bet. The player shake at least once, and pass
shaker back to dealer. Dealer check the dice, and pronounce value of shaked dice.
If the dice's value is three (3), actual hand is marked as „Power hand“. Now on,
paytable switch to „Power hand mode“ paytable (see next chapter). If dice's value
is not three,
• After dice shaking procedure, dealer deals four cards from dealing shoe. First and
third card will represent Player's hand, second and fourth card Banker's hand. After
this four cards are dealt, the third card for Player and banker will be dealt after
„Third card rule“, explained in Third card ruole chapter.
• In the last phase of the game the wining hand is pronounced, and calculations of
wining bets and side bets are made. When all this is done, a new game can start

SETTINGS
There is an menu, where all settings can be done. To access to settings menu, you must
enter the electronic key, open front door (message DOORS OPEN:1) and press on menu
button on bottom of the screen. In this menu, you can set all settinsg about system and
particulary game.

SYSTEM SETTINGS

By pressing on button, you will access to system settings, which affect on all
games.

PARAMETER NAME DESCRIPTION

Playboard ID Local identification number of the play
board. Each play board has to have a
unique number from 1 to the actual
number of play boards.
Door Mask Door mask specifies which doors are
actually present in the system. Door mask is
decimal represented 8 bit binary number.
Each bit corresponds to the corresponding
door signal. 1 enables corresponding door
signal, 0 disables corresponding door signal.

RECOVERY RESET

user manual!

SHOW GAMES

By pressing on button, you will access to game history. In this menu, you can
check several informations about particular game from history of games. Between games
in game history, you move by pressing on buttons.

MACHINE LOG

By pressing on button, you will access to machine logfile, where all events are
stored.
SHUTDOWN

By pressing on button, you will access to shutdown procedure menu.There

you can shutdow and reboot the machine or exit the game.
BILL EJECT

By pressing on button, billacceptor will be eject (optional).

GETTING STARTED
Before the player can place any bets, credit must be added to playboard. This can be
peformed by insetring bills in billacceptor, via SAS server, or with electronic key. To add
credit with electronic key, you put the key in, and press on button. A keyboard will
appear. Type credit amount you want and confirm by pressing on green button on the
keyboard, or cancel with red button.

In figures below, playboard's graphic is described. There the player can get informations
about his credit, bets and wining amount, can select chips denominations, place bets, etc

On Baccarat trend display, sequence of winners by game is displayed. Here player can
check who was the winner in previous played games. Trend is displayed from top to
bottom of trend display, and from left to right in case of more wins of same player „dragon
tail“ (see Figure 10and Figure 11 for explanation).
By pressing on Baccarat trend display, it will maximize. Trends shown in maximized
window wil be displayed in order as they are in minimized window (on Figure 19) from
right to left side.
