Materials Needed:
-3.75 mm hook, yarn needle, stitch marker
-Cotton Yarn
-Fiberfill stuffing
-6 mm safety eyes
-Black embroidery floss
-Ball chain keychain 100mm long

-BLO: back loops only

-sc: single crochet
-sc2tog: single crochet 2 stitches together (decrease)

Gauge: with 3.75 mm hook, 18 sc sts = 4 inches
Pencil
Rnd 1: with pink yarn, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around (12 total sts)
Rnd 3:*sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st, rpt from * until end of rnd (15 total sts)
Rnd 4: working in BLO, sc in each st around (15 total sts)
Rnd 5-6: sc in each st around (15 total sts)
Rnd 7: change to gray yarn, sc in each st around (15 total sts)
Rnd 8: working in BLO, sc in each st around (15 total sts)
Rnd 9: change to main color yarn, working in BLO, sc in each st around (15 total sts)
Rnd 10-16: sc in each st around (15 total sts)
Insert safety eyes between rounds 13 and 14 with 2 stitches in between
With yarn needle and black embroidery floss make a “V” for the mouth
stuff with fiberfill
Rnd 17: change to tan yarn, *sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (12 total sts)
Rnd 18: sc in each st around (12 total sts)
Rnd 19: *sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (9 total sts)
Rnd 20: change to black yarn, *sc2tog, sc in next st, rpt from * until end of rnd (6 total sts)
Stuff with a little more stuffing. Using yarn tail and yarn needle weave in and out of stitches to
close remaining hole, weave in ends. Insert keychain in very top of pencil.
