“Festival Dance Trivia”
Prepare a few trivia questions related to popular
Philippine festivals (e.g., Sinulog, Ati-Atihan,
Dinagyang).
B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
Define festival dance and describe its
characteristics and significance.
Appreciate the cultural and historical value of
festival dances in showcasing Filipino traditions.
Perform basic steps of a selected Philippine festival

proper rhythm and coordination.
