Cut off the long end of the thread. Add fiberfill. Close the hole using the
tapestry needle.
Pull of the loop and weave through each of the
6 front loops of the last round and pull tight. Once you pull 6 front loops,
weave through 2-3 loops in one time. Do not forget to pull tight.
Repeat 3 times. Insert the needle to the center and draw out to any desired
side. Break yarn.

LEAFY TOPS:
Join burgundy color yarn to row 1 for the beetroot from the closed hole.
Chain 30, and crochet 20 sc to the chain foundation, 9 dc.

4
Continue crocheting 2 sc along the edge of the beetroot.
Chain 30 and crochet 2 chains similarly.

We hide the ends of the threads inside the beetroot.

Count 9 stitches from the beetroot and join dark olive yarn -
1 hdc, 3 dc, (2 tr in 1 stitch)*3, (2 dtr in 1 stitch)*12, 4 dtr in 1 stitch.

Continue crocheting on the other side of the chain –

(2 dtr in 1 stitch)*12, (2 tr in 1 stitch)*3, 3 dc, 1 hdc, 1sl st.

5
Break yarn. Hide the ends of the threads inside the leaflet.
According to the same scheme, tie the two remaining chains.

Congratulations! The beetroot is ready.

Thank you for knitting according to my scheme.
