-Cut 6 blue stripes from wool felt (pic 54). Use -Split the black yarn (use 2 threads only-pic
glue gun to glue the stripes on the body (pic 63) to sew the mouth. Pull the thread from
55-56). this side of the head to the opposite side (pic
64-65)

-Sew 2 legs on the body (pic 57-58).

Pull the thread really tight (pic 66), repeat it
one or two more time to make the mouth
thicker (pic 67).

-Sew 2 arms on the body (pic 59-60).

-Use blue & white yarn to sew the eye shadow

(pic 67).
-Crochet 4 teeth: ch 3, start on the 2nd ch, slst
1, hdc 1. Sew 2 teeth on each side (pic 68).
-Glue or insert the 10mm eyes between rnd
10&11 of the head (pic 61).

-Sew a line around the mouth to make a smile

CROCHETING TIPS

1.What is X-shape stitch/V-shape stitch? Which one is better?

X-shape stitch or V-shape stitch depends on the way you pull the yarn through the loop. If
you yarn over the hook from back to front, you’re making a V-shape stitch. If you yarn under
the hook, then it’s a X-shape stitch. Both ways are fine, you can crochet whichever you find
easier.
V-shape stitch helps your amigurumi look bigger, while X-shape stitch makes your
amigurumi more beautiful and helps to make the amigurumi tighter.
