ASSEMBLY

16
ATTACHING THE HEAD
Place the body on the bottom of the head
over rnd 9-12 counting from the back of the
head towards the front. It may be helpful to
use pins to avoid that the parts shift when you
begin sewing.

Sew from the body and up through the head.

Sew down into a ch-sp of the body and up in
the next to the head and continue all the way
around. Make sure not to tighten the yarn too
much or sew to far under the head causing it
to loose its shape.

You can add a little extra fiber fill as you go if

it doesn’t come all the way up to the top of
the body.

Sew all the way around twice and weave in

the end carefully.

ATTACHING THE ARMS

Sew the arms onto either side of the body
between rnd 4 and 5 counting from the head
and downwards.

Sew through the body and up into a ch-sp and

down through the next. Sew on both sides of
the arm and preferably all the way around a
couple of times to make sure that the arm is
attached thoroughly.

Weave in the end carefully.

Krea Deluxe © COPYRIGHT 2019

Mr and Mrs Mouse - Page 17
ATTACHING THE EARS
Sew the ears onto the head and place them
over round 5 to 9, when you look at the
mouse from the side and count from the back
of the head and forward. Also align the ears
with the arms when looking at the mouse
from the side.

See the photos in the previous page and on

the right.

Attach the ears to the head by sewing all the

way around the ear on both sides. Preferably
a few times to attach it securely.

Weave in the end carefully.

ATTACHING THE LEGS

Sew the legs onto the bottom of the body
over round 3 and 4 and at the same time
making sure that the feet are pointed for-
wards when the mouse is sitting down.

Place the legs 2 chain spaces apart.

You can attach the legs with pins to keep

them in place and avoid that they shift as you
sew. Weave in the end carefully when you are
done.

Krea Deluxe © COPYRIGHT 2019

Mr and Mrs Mouse - Page 18
ATTACHING THE TAIL
Place the tail in the middle of the back over
rnd 11 and 12 counting from the bottom and
upwards.

Sew through the body and into the chain

spaces of the tail. Sew all the way around the
tail, preferably a few time to make sure that
the tail is attached securely.

Weave in the end carefully.

Tail with pipe cleaner

Insert the pipe cleaner under rnd 11 of the body.
Use a pipe cleaner if you would like to be able
to shape the tail and point it in a certain direc-
tion.

Cut a pipe cleaner the same length as the tail

adding 2-3 cm.

Insert the pipe cleaner under round 11 of the

body. Pull it through and leave 2-3 cm of the
pipe cleaner on one side and the rest on the
other side .

Twist the short end around the long end to

attach it securely to the body.

You can bend the end of the pipe cleaner to

avoid that it comes out through the end of
the tail.

Pull the tail over the pipe cleaner and attach it

by sewing it to the body as described above.

Twist the short end around the long end. Pull the tail
over the pipe cleaner and attach it to the body.
