What is Reiki?
The word Reiki means universal life force energy. It is defined as

word consist of two parts. The Rei describes the universal,

Attunement which is also known as Initiations are an essential part
of traditional Reiki system. Reiki energy is transferred to the
student during An Attunement given by a Reiki Master and allows
the student to tap into an unlimited supply of “Life force energy” to
improve health and enhance the quality of life. Its use is not
dependent on one’s intellectual capacity or spiritual development
and therefore is available to everyone.

Who can learn Reiki

Reiki is a Holistic power and is very simple process to learn. It is not

KARUNA REIKI
Karuna Reiki
Karuna Reiki was developed by Reiki Master William L. Rand. He
used the symbols and found that these symbols are highly effective.
He then meditated on the symbols and was guided to develop the
attunement process. He named this new system as Karuna Reiki.

Karuna Meaning
Karuna is a Sanskrit word which means compassion. It also means,
when we do something for others to decrease their sufferings, it is
also considered as compassion.

Meaning of Karuna Reiki

Karuna Reiki is called as Reiki of Compassion. It is not a traditional
form of Reiki and also not an alternative to Usui Reiki. But, the
system of healing has been evolved out of the Usui Reiki System.
