FOREWORD

The Work Immersion in Senior High School in the Philippines is a program where

students spend time working in a real company or organization. It helps us gain hands-on

experience, apply what we learned in school, and develop skills needed for our chosen career

path. This program prepares us for college, future jobs, or even starting a business.
 This portfolio is a reflection of my experiences and learnings in Work Immersion

subject. The program helped me learn new knowledge and gain useful skills that I can use in

real-life situations, especially in job finding. It helped me grow not only as a student but also

as a future professional, teaching me the importance of responsibility, teamwork,

adaptability, and continuous learning.

I am truly grateful to my teachers, classmates, parents and friends who supported me

throughout this journey. Their guidance and encouragement helped me complete tasks, face

challenges, and become more confident in my abilities.

The skills I developed, the tasks I accomplished, and the valuable insights I gained

through this program will surely help me in my future career. This experience gave me a

clearer understanding of the workplace, making me feel more prepared for the next steps in

my life.

My gratitude extends to our school administrator, Mr. Jonnel Espayos for giving us the

opportunity to experience learning in a real-life work environment.

Sumagpao, for his patient guidance, encouragement, and invaluable insights throughout this

journey. His advice and support were essential in helping us successfully complete both the

work immersion and this portfolio.

I also deeply appreciate the unwavering support and encouragement of our lovely

adviser, Ms. Angelyne Bauit. Her continuous motivation gave us strength and inspired us to

do our best in our work immersion subject.

Most importantly, I am beyond grateful for the genuine emotional, physical, mental, and

financial support from my wonderful parents. Their powerful life lessons remain one of my

greatest motivations to persevere despite the challenges I encountered.

INTRODUCTION

Work Immersion is an educational program that gives senior high school students

actual, hands-on experience in their chosen field of study. It is an important part of K-12

curriculum since it tries to bridge the gap between learning in class and real-world

application. Additionally, it is one of the requirements that senior high school student must
complete to be able to graduate on time. It allows students to put themselves in an actual job

environment at the same time developing their skills. Through this experiences, students will

gain important knowledge about their chosen career paths.

Furthermore, this subject will help learners to be prepared enough to make decisions on

college or employment. It will be an advantage for them since they have an opportunity to

test themselves, such as their ability or skills, and apply the knowledge they have got in real-

life situations.

To sum up, work immersion is an excellent program which helps students in gaining

practical experience and developing crucial skills for their future employment. It allows

learners to discover their strengths and develop their skills by bridging the gap between

education and the business. In the end, this experience helps learner succeed by preparing

them to make wiser choices regarding their educational and professional pathways.

Work Immersion is an essential program for students in Senior High School

since it will help us to prepare ourselves in the career path that we have chosen.

Likewise, this is one of the requirements that learners must complete so we could be

able to graduate. It requires a lot of responsibilities in order for us to succeed. We are

not only going to think about our responsibilities as students but also as an employee.

And, I think, learning about business ethics probably will be a great help for us.

Understanding business ethics will teach us how to act professionally in the

workplace. It will guide us in making the right decisions and treating others with

respect. Knowing the importance of honesty, integrity, and accountability will help us

build positive relationships with other employees in a company.

Thinking about myself during work immersion gives me a thrill. Even though, a

lot of people say that work immersion is one of the challenging subjects that must

students passed in order to graduate on time, I am still excited about it simply because

I know that the experience I will gain from it.will give us the chance to be well
 enough trained to deal with real-life situations. It will also provide us with an

opportunity to improve our skills and abilities.
