P rūpaṃ bhikkhave anattā. rūpañ ca hidaṃ bhikkhave attā abhavissa,


nayidaṃ rūpaṃ ābādhāya saṃvatteyya, labbhetha ca rūpe evaṃ me rūpaṃ
hotu, evaṃ me rūpaṃ mā ahosī ti. yasmā ca kho bhikkhave rūpaṃ anattā,
tasmā rūpaṃ ābādhāya saṃvattati, na ca labbhati rūpe evaṃ me rūpaṃ
hotu, evaṃ me rūpaṃ mā ahosī ti.

SBhV rūpaṃ bhikṣavo nātmā; rūpaṃ ced bhikṣava ātmā syān na rūpam
ābādhāya duḥkhāya saṃvarteta, labhyeta ca rūpasyaivaṃ me rūpaṃ
bhavatu, evaṃ mā bhūd iti. yasmāt tarhi bhikṣavo rūpam anātmā tasmād
rūpam ābādhāya duḥkhāya saṃvartate, na ca labhyate rūpasyaivaṃ me
bhavatu, evaṃ mā bhūd iti

Mvu rūpaṃ bhikṣavo anātmā vedanā anātmā saṃjñā anātmā saṃskārā


anātmā vijñānaṃ anātmaidaṃ rūpaṃ ce bhikṣavaḥ ātmā abhaviṣyat na va
rūpaṃ ābāndhāya duḥkhāya saṃvarteta ṛdhyāc ca rūpe kāmakārikatā
evaṃ me rūpaṃ bhavatu evaṃ mā bhavatu. yasmāc ca bhikṣavo rūpaṃ
anātmā tasmād rūpaṃ bādhāya duḥkhāya saṃvartati na cātra ṛdhyati
kāmakārikatā evaṃ me rūpaṃ bhavatu evaṃ mā bhavatu.

P taṃ kiṃ maññatha bhikkhave rūpaṃ niccaṃ vā aniccaṃ vā ti. aniccaṃ


bhante. yaṃ panāniccaṃ dukkhaṃ vā taṃ sukhaṃ vā ti. dukkhaṃ bhante.
yaṃ panāniccaṃ dukkhaṃ vipariṇāmadhammaṃ, kallaṃ nu taṃ
samanupassituṃ etaṃ mama, eso ’ham asmi, eso me attā ti. no hetaṃ
bhante.

SBhV kiṃ manyadhve bhikṣavo rūpaṃ nityaṃ vā <anityaṃ vā>. anityam


idaṃ bhadanta. yat punar anityaṃ duḥkhaṃ vā tan na vā duḥkham.
duḥkham idaṃ bhadanta. yat punar anityaṃ duḥkhaṃ vipariṇāmadharmi,
api nu tac chrutavān āryaśrāvaka ātmata upagacched etan mama, eso 'ham
asmy, eṣa me ātmeti. no bhadanta.

P evaṃ passaṃ bhikkhave sutavā ariyasāvako rūpasmim pi nibbindati,


vedanāya pi nibbindati, saññāya pi nibbindati, saṅkhāresu pi nibbindati,
viññāṇasmim pi nibbindati. nibbindaṃ virajjati, virāgā vimuccati.
vimuttasmiṃ vimuttam iti ñāṇaṃ hoti. khīṇā jāti, vusitaṃ brahmacariyaṃ,
kataṃ karaṇīyaṃ, nāparaṃ itthattāyā ti pajānātī ti.

SBhV yataś ca bhikṣavaḥ śrutavān āryaśrāvaka imāṃ pañca


upādānaskandhān naivātmato nātmīyataḥ samanupaśyati. sa evaṃ
samanupaśyan na kiñcil loka upādatte. anupādadāno na paritasyati
aparitasya ātmaiva parinirvāti, kṣīṇā me jātiḥ, uṣitaṃ brahmacaryam, kṛtaṃ
karaṇīyam, nāparam asmād bhavaṃ prajānāmīti.

Avś evaṃdarśī āyuṣmantaḥ śrutavān āryaśrāvako rūpād api nirvidyate


vedanāyāḥ saṃjñāyāḥ saṃsakārebhyo vijñānād api. nirviṇṇo virajyate
virakto vimucyate vimuktam evaṃ jñānadarśanaṃ bhavati kṣīṇā me jātir
uṣitaṃ brahmacaryaṃ ktaṃ karaṇīyaṃ nāparam asmād bhavaṃ
prajānāmīti.

G imaspi ca vaaraṇo bhaiamaṇ(*o) [29] paceaṇa bhikhuṇa aṇuaḏe asrave


cita vimuta. iḏam e(*ya) [30] bhayava. atamaṇa pacea bhikhu.

P idam avoca bhagavā. attamanā pañcavaggiyā bhikkhū bhagavato


bhāsitaṃ abhinanduṃ. imasmiñ ca pana veyyākaraṇasmiṃ bhaññamāne
pañcavaggiyānaṃ bhikkhūnaṃ anupādāya āsavehi cittāni vimucciṃsū ti.
tena kho pana samayena cha loke arahanto honti.

SBhV asmin khalu dharmaparyāye bhāṣyaṃāṇe avaśiṣṭanāṃ pañcakānāṃ


bhikṣūṇām anupādāyāśravebhyaś cittāni vimuktāni. tena khalu samayena
pañca loke 'rhanto, bhagavāṃś ca ṣaṣṭha iti.

Mvu idam avocado bhagavāṃ vārāṇasyāṃ viharanto ṛṣivadane mṛgadāve.


imasmiṃś ca punar vyākaraṇe bhāṣyamāṇe trayo bhikṣū balavaśībhāvaṃ
prāpuṇensuḥ aśītīnāṃ ca devakoṭīnāṃ virajā vigatamalā dharmeṣu
dharmacakṣūṇi viśuddhāni. āttamanā te bhikṣū bhagavato bhāṣitam
abhinande.

Avś asmin khalu dharmaparyāye bhāṣyamāṇe teṣāṃ sahajātakānāṃ virajo


vigatamalaṃ dharmeṣu dharmacakṣur utpannam.
