Needles and Notions
• Deramores Studio Baby Soft DK
• A pair of 3mm (US 2) straight knitting
• 100% Acrylic, DK weight yarn needles; minimum length 20cm
(double knitting or light worsted
weight) • A darning or tapestry needle
• You only need a few grammes • A few handfuls of toy filling
from a 100g (330m) skein in • Two 5mm black beads for eyes
each colour:
• Black embroidery floss/thread to sew on
WHITE - Shade “Snow” beads and embroider the mouth
PINK - Shade “Lollipop” • Small circles of pink and white felt fabric
ORANGE - Shade • Glue or pink cotton thread to attach the
cheeks

felt fabric for the eyes.
Using the black thread sew
beads on top of these
circles on the head in
front of the antennae.
Use the black thread to
embroider a smiley
mouth on the front of the
head.
Cut two 8mm diameter
circles in pink felt fabric
for the cheeks, and glue
or sew these onto the
sides of the head over the
ends of the mouth.
