ASSEMBLY &
DECORATIONS
Pin the head to the body the way it is shown in the picture.
Sew it around. When there is a small hole left, add the fiber filling
and sew to the end.

Pin the eyes between the 16th and the 26th rows. There is 3 sc between them.
Sew them around.
Tighten the bellybutton socket. Start between future legs and bring the needle out in the place
of bellybutton. Make a little stitch (equal 1 sc) bringing the needle out between future legs.
Sew the legs onto the body at a distance of 3 rounds from the middle of the body. When
there is a small hole left, add the fiber filling.

Sew the first pair of amrs leaving two rows from the head.
The first pair should be just behind the second one (look at picture 3).
For sewing we use the thread left after crocheting.
Sew the second pair using the thread joint. Previously secure them with
pins. Look at the pictures.

Mark the place of antennae with the help of the hat.

Pull the wire through the head.
Roll one edge of wire and put the antenna on. Sew it to the head.
Do the same with the second antenna.

Sew the hat around to the head. Pin the wings leaving two rows from the head.

Sew the wings as it is shown in the 2nd picture.

Embroider the patch of light.

Pin the place for the mouth and tighten it. Start near one of the antennae (point 1) and
bring the needle out in point 2. Put the thread in point 3 and bring out in point 6. Tight
the thread a little.
Then put the thread in point 1 and bring it out in point 4, put in point 5 and bring it out in
point 1. Tighten the thread, tie it. Hide the thread in the body.

Sew the mouth with the black yarn.

Tie the scarf on your pumpkin bug.
