• Review: Ask the pupils about what are the important criteria in assessing
food?
4.1.Introductory Activity • Motivation: have a 4 PICS 1 word game about marketing a topic.
5 minutes • Presentation of the topic: Show a situation about Mr. Wenceslao who
planned to make a banana business.

Group the class into 3 groups based on their profile.

• Group a: literacy group : scanning and skimming an article


4.2.Activity • Group b: numeracy group: compute the profit
10 minutes • Group c: creative group: make a slogan about marketing food

6. Assignment/ Enrichment Activity


• A. Look for any reusable materials at home to be used as your container
for your preserved/ processed food. Make the packaging and label the
container.

• B. Write in the table the desired preserved food product and answer the
questions by checking the column.
