Basic information
Materials and Tools: Stitches & Abbreviations:
dark pink, white and green colors yarn; ch – chain st - stitch
crochet hook; sl st - slip stitch rnd – round
sc - single crochet rep - repeat until the end of round
needle with the round end;
dc – double crochet
scissors; hdc – half double crochet
stuffing. sc2tog - single crochet decrease (two stitches crochet together)

You can use any kind of yarn of the appropriate color.


Light weight yarn will give you the small size finished
item, heavy weight – the bigger one. The crochet hook
size will depends on the yarn you choose. Crocheting
should be very tight to avoid gaps between stitches. It is
important for the further stuffing (you should not see the
filling through).

Radish is worked in rounds by single crochet, without


turning chains. All stitches are worked in the back of loop,
unless indicated otherwise.
The loop on the hook doesn't count as a stitch.

Materials used in this pattern:


"Begonia" yarn by YarnArt (100% cotton, 169m/
50g) – dark pink, white and green colors;
crochet hook size 1.4 mm;
needle with the round end;
fiberfill.

The final sample size is 4+7 cm (1,6 + 2,8 inches). OlinoHobby


Pattern
Start with ‘Magic Ring’ in color dark pink. Crochet 6 sc into
ring. Continue the round crochet through the back of loop.

Rnd 1: *2 sc in st* 6 times (= 12 sts)


Rnd 2: *2 sc in st, sc in next st* 6 times (= 18 sts)
Rnd 3: *2 sc in st, sc in 2 next sts* 6 times (= 24 sts)
Rnd 4-6: sc around (= 24 sts)
Cut yarn. Continue with white color thread.
Rnd 7: sc around (= 24 sts)
Rnd 8: *sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts* 6 times (= 18 sts)
Rnd 9: *sc2tog, sc in next st* 6 times (= 12 sts)
Stuff.
Rnd 10: *sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts* 3 times (= 9 sts)
Rnd 11: *sc2tog, sc in next st* 3 times (= 6 sts)
Rnd 12: *sc2tog* 3 times (= 3 sts).

Insert hook in 3 last stitches. Work 5 ch. Cut yarn, leaving


1-2 cm.

Leaf (3 pcs.). Start with 26 ch + 1 ch in green colour yarn.


Starting from second ch from hook work the sequence:
7 sl st; 2 sc; 2 hdc in st; 2 dc in st; 1 hdc; 3 sc; 2 hdc in st; 2
dc in st; 1 hdc; 3 sc; 2 hdc; 2 dc in st; 2 dc in st; 7 dc in st.

Turn your work. Work on the other side: ch hdc 2 hdc in st


2 dc in st; 2 dc in st; 2 hdc; 3 sc; 1 hdc; 2 dc in st; 2 hdc in
sl st
st; 3 sc; 1 hdc; 2 dc in st; 2 hdc in st; 2 sc; 7 sl st.
sc dc 2 dc in st
Cut yarn, leaving 10 cm.
Similarly crochet remaining 2 leaves.
Assembly
Sew the leaf to the radish. Radish is ready.
