Our client is a leading integrated agricultural company specializing in premium coffee and tea

production, from ‘farm to cup’. The company serves both local and international markets from their
base just outside Nairobi. The company owns and runs a farm which has certain sections that present
opportunities for premium residential housing development, for which a real estate subsidiary has
been formed. The real estate subsidiary is up and running, with a proven commercial track record. As
part of renewed growth plans, the firm has identified an opportunity for outstanding, commercially
driven ‘Sales Executives’.

SALES EXECUTIVES

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

This position has the overall responsibilities of:

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to foster loyalty,
long-term partnerships that convert to property sale.
2. Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales objectives. Participate in all customer-facing and
promotion events to create awareness, build interest, and make offers for sale. Negotiate
contracts, pricing and other purchase terms to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
3. Analyze market trends, sales data, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Provide actionable insights to management. Achieve growth targets.
4. Comply with all regulatory and company policy requirements while maximizing profitability.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Executive is responsible and accountable for the following Core job elements:

• Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling,
networking, leveraging potential partnerships, online lead generation, and client referrals.
• Keep updated on market trends, competitor offerings, property valuations and new
developments in the real estate industry to provide customers with informed advice.
• Market and promote properties through online platforms, social media, events and other
marketing channels as may be agreed.
• Conduct property tours and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective buyers,
highlighting the unique features and benefits.
• Negotiate and close deals effectively, ensuring win-win outcomes for both the client and the
company.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including leads, appointments, and closed
deals, in the company CRM.
• Assist clients with the paperwork and processes required for property purchases, ensuring
accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service
throughout the sales process to foster trust and ensure repeat business.
• Provide insights to the sales team and management on customer feedback, industry trends,
and areas for growth.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company and its
offerings.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire sales process. Address client
inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members, including marketing, property
management, and legal departments.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the company.
• Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to meet client needs and close deals effectively.

EDUCATIONAL AND COLLATERAL REQUIREMENTS

• A diploma or an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution with at least five years
of experience in sales in the real estate industry.
• Strong understanding of the real estate market and sales processes.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients, and build lasting relationships.
• Ability to deliver impactful sales reports and insights with exceptional strategic, analytical,
creative, communication, problem solving and presentation skills.
• A self-starter and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed.
