Crochet and creativity have been a part of my life for head over heels for the plushie patterns I came
as long as I can remember. My journey began when my across on Etsy. But I quickly grew frustrated with
grandmother first taught me how to make macrame constantly printing, zooming in and out, and losing
knots at age five. Along the way, I became an Actuary my place. That’s when inspiration struck! I decided

First, take some time to make

sure you have all the parts and
they all fit together. I like to
attach all the parts to the body
with knitting needles, as in pic.

If you chose to make a weighted dragon - add some
weights to the tail now, otherwise skip this step.
Put the body flat on its stomach, place the tail to the

end, so it also lays flat and sew them st to st together.
FRONT LEGS VIDEO Open ends
While the dragon is laying on its

back, place open end of the front
paws around R33 of the body (while
the toes are facing the body, slightly
turned in, and reaching R25) about 7

Sew the open ends of the paws along
R33 first, and then a little more down
the leg, so the leg is not wobbly.

First, sew the open end of the

This technique is optional but very much recommended
because it makes a big difference in the look of the head.
This is done with white yarn that is thinner and stronger
than the one you used for the dragon.
ABBS
Mark some points below the chin of the dragon as your
starting points, as in pic. Pull yarn from the start point to
the eye, and back (on the way back your yarn should come
out one st away from the start point), tighten and make a
knot, make another knot and hide the yarn. Repeat on the

Take the thinner ends of the

eyebrows and sew them on
starting between R5 and R6 of the
head (about 3-4 st apart), slightly
curving around the eyes and
finishing sewing right between the
horn and the ear (I recommend

This is done with furry yarn.
Starting right between the
eyebrows, as shown in the picture,
sc across each round all through

the body and to the very end, you
may want to mark the line with

Then starting from one side of the
tail, sc through the middle of the
tail and to the end of the other
side.
PATTERN
Optional: You could make the
spines fluffier and spikier (like in
the last picture). For this, you will
be working on top of the single
crochets that you made in the

first step. The following will be
repeated as many times as
necessary to get back to the other
side.

Once, you are done, you can also
brush it, so it becomes even
