ADD is multitasking: Dealer's Choice How To Play ANACONDA Poker

Game

Setup & Initial Rounds

1. Ante: Every player puts in a predetermined ante.
2. The Deal: The dealer gives every player seven cards, all face down.
3. First Betting Round: A full round of betting occurs, starting clockwise
from the dealer.

Passing & Betting Sequence

The game proceeds in three phases of passing cards, each followed by a
round of betting.

Round 1 (Pass 3): After the first betting round, every player selects
three cards from their hand and passes them to the player on their left
(clockwise). A second full betting round occurs.
Round 2 (Pass 2): After the second betting round, every player
selects two cards from their hand and passes them to the player on
their left. A third full betting round occurs.
Round 3 (Pass 1): After the third betting round, every player selects
one card from their hand and passes it to the player on their left. A
fourth full betting round occurs.

Special Rule: Players must choose which cards they are passing before
they are allowed to look at the new cards they have received.

The Discard
After the final passing and betting round, players look at their 7 cards and
must discard two of them into a central muck pile. This leaves every
player with their final 5-card hand.

The Showdown
The transcript describes two methods for the final showdown.

Option A: Simple Showdown

Players arrange their 5-card hand in any order they wish, face down.
On the dealer's signal, all players flip their hands over simultaneously.
Once the cards are flipped, they cannot be reorganized. The best
hand wins.

Option B: The "Slow Roll" Showdown (Narrator's Preference)

This method involves multiple betting rounds to build the pot.

1. First Flip & Bet: On the dealer's call, every player flips one card of
their choice face up. A full round of betting begins, started by the
player with the highest-ranking card showing.
2. Second Flip & Bet: Players flip a second card face up. Another round
of betting occurs, likely started by the player with the best two-card
hand showing (e.g., the player showing a pair).
3. Third Flip & Bet: Players flip a third card face up, followed by another
round of betting.
4. Fourth Flip & Bet: Players flip a fourth card face up, followed by
another round of betting.
5. Final Flip & Final Bet: Players flip their fifth and final card face up.
One last round of betting takes place.

Winning the Game

After the final betting round of the showdown, the player with the best five-
card poker hand wins the entire pot.
