Free-Range Baby Legwarmers

by Eimear Earley

These legwarmers are designed to keep little legs warm during nappy-free time,
or while being worn in a sling or carrier. An i-cord drawstring tied at the ankle
keeps the legwarmers in place in spite of kicks or wriggles.
Knit in next-to-skin soft yarn for semi-naked baby time, or in a rougher wool as
an outer layer while baby-wearing.

Size: Yarn:
Approx 3 -12 months Striped version:
DK weight, 80m of MC and 34m of CC
Needle: I used Debbie Bliss Rialto DK in 046 Forest
4 mm circular or size needed to achieve gauge (MC) & 042 Pink (CC)

Gauge: Ribbed version: DK weight, 112 metres.
