Chapter-1 Introduction
Hello everyone. We are a team/Team ID 338203. Our team is formed of 4
members:Thakkar Dhruvil, Panchal Dhruvil, Patel Meet P.& Patel Meet A. .
We have chosen the topic of High-Tech automation. This project is carried out under the
guidance of prof. Bhoomika Modi (Mentor).
High-Tech automation is just head name for those devices who are programmed to be
automated. Not just any devices this devices save energy, time of the users. We can say that
installing this devices would make our life easy. When the user who have installed High-
Tech automation, it can be very useful to save energy when PIR or IR sensor is used, it can
sense the presence of users and able to turn on/off appliances. When not in use it will save
electric energy.
Chapter-2 AEIOU Summary
AEIOU sheet is generally used to understand the field of application of the desired
topic and its analysis is given in this sheet. AEIOU is the short form for: Activity
Environment Interaction Objects and Users. As the name of each headings suggests, the
objective of this sheet is to give analysis of your topic on the related headings.
Chapter-3 Empathy Sheet
An Empathy Sheet is a collaborative visualization used to articulate what we
know about a particular type of user. It externalizes knowledge about users in order to
create a shared understanding of user needs and aid in decision making.
Chapter-4 Ideation Canvas
The ideation canvas is designed to use in the creative ideation stage of a design
process, when you’re looking to generate ideas for solutions. It works best when
completed individually, but if you’re working in a group, you can have each member
complete the canvas and then compare your results.
Chapter-5 Product Development Canvas
PDC stands for Product development canvas.
Remember, a canvas comprises a process that streamlines thought, systematically.
Once, an idea is generated, next step is to identify a product/process (in a comprehensive
manner) to resolve the specific difficulty for a user/user group.
The PDC consist of the various sections as User, Purpose, Experience (User’s feelings,
expectations and experience from the developed product – imagine/visualize this),
Functions, Features, components and validation/re-validation.
Working on a PDC is an iterative exercise, once done first-hand, more and more revisions
will enhance the product development spine. Create versions, more of it over a period of
time. Improve each version or break-it-down to specific needs of the visualized product.
Chapter-6 Prototype
Prototype is a working model of a device related the selected topic.
It can also be considered as a blue print of the item to be produced.
A prototype is generally used to evaluate a new design to enhance
the precision by system analysts and users.
Prototyping serves to provide specifications for a real, working
System rather than a theoretical one.
