Tools

A tool helps you make specialized ability checks, craft Carpenter’s Tools (8 GP)
certain items, or both. A tool’s description includes the Ability: Strength Weight: 6 lbs
tool’s cost and weight, as well as the following entries: Utilize: Seal or pry open a door or container (DC 20)
Craft: Club, Greatclub, Quarterstaff, Barrel, Chest,

The Difficulty Class (DC) for each tool’s Utilize action is
derived from the 2024 Player’s Handbook. However, the DC Craft: Climber’s Kit
should be treated as the default number, rather than a __
mandatory one. The Dungeon Master always reserves the
right to lower or raise the DC based on the situation. Cook’s Utensils (1 GP)
