PROJECT DETAILS:
Project 1:

Title: CAS Promotion Creations and Changes


Description: CAS Promotion Creations and Changes bot is implemented as two parts i.e. CAS Promotion
Creations and CAS Promotion Changes which runs daily.

The main objective of the CAS Promotion Creations bot is to create new Promotions in the CAS web
application with 3 different segments which includes Food, MWC and Petcare consumer Details for 5
markets. Add all the Promotions line by line in the CAS application. For every promotion, add all the
Promotion level details, add Tactics to the promotion and Tactic level details. Once all the values are
added for the Promotion, then change the status of the promotion and then assign the next responsible
user as provided. For every promotion created in CAS, there will be different tactics to be created, and it
takes around 8 hours. All the data comes in an Excel file that will be shared over SharePoint.

The main objective of CAS Promotion Changes bot is to do significant changes to the already existing
promotions & Tactics in the CAS web application with 3 different segments which includes Food, MWC
and Petcare consumer details for 5 markets. Changes includes the following 4 scenarios: Adding a new
product/group, Deleting the existing product/group, changing values for the existing product/group and
Finding an old product/group & replacing the values of Old product to a new product /group. Each
promotion includes Tactics and for each Tactic, there are around 100’s of different products/groups. Start
with each promotion line by line, change the status and for every promotion select the relevant Tactic
type before doing any changes. Once the right Tactic type is chosen, make the changes. Share the
Summary file to the SharePoint and send mail to the respective client.

Responsibilities:
⚫ Involved with the client from requirement gathering phase.
⚫ Effectively used String commands, Decision Rules, Loops, Variable Operations, Object
Cloning, Excel commands, Database commands and Email commands.

Project 2:

Title: RC D2C Sales Invoice Import


Description: The objective of this process is to import the invoices to One Nav windows application and then
release & post the imported invoices. This is a daily process. Bot will download the input excel file which includes
invoices data that will shared by the Business team via SharePoint. The file includes 3 sheets namely HEADER,
AUX and LINES. The HEADER sheet contains all the Invoices with single line item of each Invoice Number to be
posted. The AUX contains information of all the Invoices included in HEADER sheet with multiple line items for
each Invoice
and the LINES sheet contains all the invoices included in the HEADER sheet with multiple line items for each
Invoice. In order to import each Invoice, create a separate file which includes all the 3 sheets, then import each
sheet in the following order: HEDAER, AUX and LINES. When an exception occurs while importing HEADER
sheet, stop processing for that Invoice and continue with next Invoice and do the same while importing AUX &
LINES sheet.
Once all the 3 sheets are imported successfully, then open the Invoice in the One Nav windows application and
release& post the Invoice. Share the Summary file to the SharePoint and send mail notification to the respective
client.

Description: This is a monthly process which involves downloading files of 7 different accounts data
of current month from Oracle web application. Once the files are downloaded, consolidate all the 7
files in an excel workbook. Then update the sheets by using formulas & excel operations. Access the
previous month workbook which is present in the shared drive. Check the existence of each item
present in current month data with the previous month data to find whether it’s a newly added item
or an old item. And check the existence of each item present in previous month data with the current
month data to find whether it’s a new item or old item. Upload the updated current month & previous
month workbooks to the shared drive and then send mail to the respective client.
