LEARNING OBJECTIVES

M At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to spell at least 5 words correctly.

C At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to complete the table with the correct words.

1. Teacher gathers pupils in front of the class to watch the music video.
I. PRE-LESSON 2. After watching the videos, ask the pupils which shapes they noticed.
3. Teacher writes down pupils answers.

4. Teacher shows pictures of different objects and check pupils know the
vocabulary.
5. Teacher pastes them on the board in groups relating to each colour (e.g. all
the round objects together). Elicit what the groups represent from the
II. LESSON pupils.
DEVELOPMENT
6. Write the shape words under the groups of pictures.
7. Teacher distribute worksheets.
8. Pupils discuss and complete the table in groups . Pupils take turns to go to
the board and write one word for an object in one column.
1. Teacher asks pupils to draw five shapes in their exercise books.
2. Pupils are asked to write some words for objects inside each shape.
3. They can copy from the board.
III. POST LESSON
4. Once done, each pairs can proceed with each other to test spelling of
shape words with their eyes closed.
5. Teacher gives feedback and wraps the lesson.
