Tet holiday, also known as Lunar New Year, is a special time of the year in
Vietnam. It is a time for family, friends, and loved ones to come together. My
parents spend weeks preparing for Tet, cleaning and decorating my homes with flowers,
apricot blossoms. On the eve of Tet, as midnight approaches, we light firecrackers and
watch fireworks to welcome the New Year. On the first day of the New Year, I visit
my relatives and friends and receive lucky money. My family also visit to pray for good
luck and blessings in the coming year. Throughout the holiday, the air is filled with
excitement and joy. Tet is truly a special time in Vietnam. I love Tet so much!
