How to Bake the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

The following recipe will produce The Best Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies. This will take about 20 minutes to prep, followed by an hour chill time and 10 to 12 minutes of baking. Within 2 hours you will be enjoying the best cookies you have ever experienced. Warning: Oven will be hot, use caution when placing cookies into, and taking out of the oven. Warning: Consuming raw eggs may result in sickness

Ingredients
2 Cups All-purpose flour 1 teaspoon Salt 1 teaspoon - Baking soda 1 teaspoon Baking Powder 2 sticks Unsalted Butter 1 Cups Dark Brown Sugar Cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 Cups semisweet chocolate chips

Equipment
2 large bowls Wire whisk Fork Measuring cups Measuring spoons Baking sheet(s)

Instructions
1. Get out all necessary ingredients (flour, sugar, dark brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla, eggs, butter, and chocolate chips) 2. Get out all equipment needed (2 bowls, measuring cups, measuring spoons, whisk, fork, saran wrap, baking sheet)

3. Measure the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda and add them to one bowl. 4. With a whisk mix these dry ingredients together until they are well combined.

5. In a separate bowl add the butter, dark brown sugar, and granulated sugar.

6. With a fork stir these ingredients until the mix appears pale and fluffy.

7. Add the eggs, one at a time to the butter mixture. Add one egg and mix, and then repeat until all eggs have been added

8. Add the vanilla to the butter and egg mixture and stir

9. Begin to gradually add the dry flour mixture to the butter mixture. Stir only until combined

10. Add the chocolate chips and mix by hand

11. Place saran wrap directly onto the cookie dough, covering all of it.

12. Place dough in refrigerator for at least one hour to chill 13. Remove dough from refrigeration 14. Preheat oven to 375 degrees 15. Measure dough balls into rounded tablespoonfuls

16. Place dough balls onto ungreased baking sheet 3 inches apart.

17. Bake for 10-12 minutes (ovens will vary)

18. Remove from oven when edges are golden and the middle appears soft. 19. Let the cookies cool for ten minutes 20. Transfer cookies from baking sheets to wire racks to cool completely. 21. Enjoy!!!

Helpful Tips
This recipe makes approximately 30 cookies To increase number of cookies, increase EVERY ingredient (double for 60 cookies, triple for 90 cookies) Children should be supervised when in the kitchen
