C&I Technician with significant experience in industrial projects, providing
loop checks, inspection, commissioning, plant start up and the handover
process on projects. Also providing installation, maintenance, and repairs for a
wide variety of instrumentation in control systems. Over eleven years in Oil and
Gas with a background not only in EPC, Commissioning and Maintenance projects
but also in optimization and engineering understanding.

C&I Technician
C OMPANY : Sasol PSA GAS and LPG plant (MAY 2021 -March 2025)
Support and perform site engineering activities during construction,
commissioning, start up and handover phases.
Providing technical support across the Engineers, monitoring, and
reporting to the supervisor/ commissioning manager.
Ensure control systems, control maintenance was pre-commissioned,
commissioned, started accordingly to the industrial phase drawings and
specifications.
Coordinate daily activities within Sasol, VGI, Wood PLC, ENHL Bonatti

ELECTRICAL:
Assemble, install, and maintain rotating equipment such as motors,
pumps, compressors, turbines, three phase motors, VFD, Main and control
circuit, systems and subsystems.
Inspect transformers, CB, and other electrical equipment.
Diagnose multifunctioning systems apparatus and components using test
equipment.
Test electrical system and continuity of electrical circuits.

Provide technical support for the plant rotating equipment such as GTG
and subsystems.
Propose, support, and manage the plant rotating equipment upgrade and
replacement projects.
MECHANICAL:
Execution of tasks associated with refurbishment of gas meter and
Mechanical equipment.
Basic practical knowledge risk-based inspection.
Basic rigging knowledge, milling machine basic operation knowledge and
maintenance of gas turbines.
Knowledge in centrifugal and reciprocating pumps.
Perform flanges box up procedures,
Cold and Hot shaft alignment for compressors / pumps.
Sets up and repairs all components of power generation system that
provides electrical power.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, and load test.
Predictive maintenance: use of data to identify potential equipment
defects, enabling timely repairs before failures occurs.
INSTRUMENT:
Troubleshooting DCS control interfaces, level, flow, temperature and
pressure equipment, vibration measurement, low -high voltage
equipment and power generation.
Read and understand piping & instrument drawing.
Maintain and test all emergency shutdown equipment (alarm & trip
check).
Perform routine installation and calibration of instrument or electrical
system.
Repair and test I&E equipment’s: Control valves, on-off valves, solenoids,
actuators, positioners, switches, transmitters, regulators, motors, pumps,
fin- fan, relays, circuit breaker, switchgears, M-series controller, HMI using
different test and calibration tools such as: Multimeters, 475 handheld
communicator, Megger, clamp meter, mA source, Pressure hand pump,
Deadweight tester, DPI 515 and Time Electronic Calibration bench.
Promote incident and injury free culture.
Comply with company's quality, health, environment policy and
guidelines.
Possess skills to fully support the use of a computerized maintenance
(SAP).
