The Devil Wears Prada

The movie The Devil Wears Prada, directed by David Frankel and based on the book by
Lauren Weisberger shows the story of a young journalist - Andrea. Recently
trained at one of the best universities in the United States, she
moves to New York in pursuit of the dream of becoming a journalist
recognized, working in a large journalism company.
Almost by chance, Andrea ends up in one of the largest and most
famous fashion magazines in the world – A Run Way. After distributing its
with a curriculum in various companies, Andrea is summoned to work at the magazine and
almost didn't make it through the interview with the editor-in-chief, Miranda Priestly. Even
not being connected to the fashion world, she managed with her cleverness and apparent
talent and competence, to impress the boss Miranda, who in turn stated
being tired of hiring "beautiful, thin, and incompetent girls..." and
decided to bet on Andrea.
On her first day, even before being hired, Andy (as Andrea is
known) has a demonstration of all the fear that her boss causes in

Andrea creates for herself a speech that 'it couldn't be different, she didn't have'

that not adapting to a particular organizational culture, a
the employee would have much more difficulty performing their work there. This lack
adaptation even influences your quality of life at work. But
to say that there is no other option, in fact, is to create an excuse not to
to admit and take responsibility for one's own choices, whether they are professional, personal or
ethics.
Throughout the days, Andrea tries to 'survive' her job, initially trying
respond to what was requested. Everything was rushed, at the last moment,
apparently without planning, and Miranda was extremely demanding and
surrounded by whims and desires. As if she were a spoiled boss... After all,

Which boss or organization does not admire this characteristic in their
employees? People who begin to breathe the air of the organization and 'wear the
shirt" in such a way that they begin to foresee the problems and reach
solutions. Andrea has evolved so much in this regard that she heard from her boss
that "You can do everything." And indeed the journalist started to "run
"against time" and meet any request from Miranda Priestly. To the point of

to become another Miranda Priestly and how far she has gone from her values, her

It's a very interesting movie that demonstrates organizational extremes that
we do not always see. Analyzing management theories, Miranda is a
