Process:

I used the program Photoshop, I learned how to add layers to a project,


how to contrast, and how to sharpen the image. I learned create a very
professional look about the photo.

Event Ad
Description:

A color full-bleed event ad to promote a fundraiser using only


Microsoft Word and a scanner.

Apply the design principles and use appropriate typography. Incorporate


basic InDesign skills to improve basic fier layout.Create a project folder

Process:

I created example sketches of my layout.I chose one sketch and created the layout. I used circles to create repetition and contrast. I also
emphasized one word in my title for more contrast. I left white space and
kept my body copy small. I wasgiven the image, logo, and content for this
fier

Montage

Objectives:

Create a new logo to fit a company or personal image. Design a


consistent layout for letterhead. Use the basic tools of Illustrator
and InDesign.

Process:

I inserted the photo of the beach into Photoshop and cropped it


to be 8.5 x 11. I edited the levels of the photo.In a separate tab,
I painted away the hardness in the photo of Christ with a 100%
opacity soft edge brush. I created a layer mask over a rectangle
with 68% opacity to make the type more readable. I added typed
into the photo with two contrasting fonts. I created a drop shadow
to make the text stand out.

Brochure

Objectives:

Set up and align a two-sided, folded document. Create an original, new


logo and use it in a brochure.

Process:

For this project, I used InDesign to create a square brochure. I made


three panels front and back. I used a photo of parchment paper to make
it look old. I used the pen tool in Illustrator to create the Hogwarts logo. I
traced over the Hogwarts castle to create a vector.

Process:

I created the logo in Adobe Illustrator. I used the pathfinder tool to cut
and divide the shapes together to create the lemon. For this business
card, I I put the logo on the front side with my name and the company
name. On the back I created four boxes to put in the phone number,
address, email, and website.

Process:

I created the logo in Adobe Illustrator. I used the pathfinder tool to cut
and divide the shapes together to create the lemon. I positioned the
logo in the top left hand corner of the letterhead. I removed the text
and put the company information in the lemon. I put the text of the
company in the opposite corner.

Process:

I created this logo in Illustrator using the pen tool to create the inside
of the lemon. I used the elipse tool to shape the outside. I created
three different versions. I chose contrasting fonts that portrayed a fun
environment.

Description:

Objectives:

Write content to describe the process of creating your logo and how it
appeals to a target audience. Design a web page using HTML to display
a logo and content. Acquire a working knowledge of HTML and a basic
understanding of CSS.Identify hex colors for web design

Process:

I created this webpage using notepad plus plus. This was the first time
I had ever used HTML or CSS, so it was quite difficult to learn. I had to
insert my logo into the HTML document, and then I linked it to the CSS
document. I changed the fonts to elephant (modern) and trebuchet (sans
serif). Lastly, I changed the colors to match my logo to create a color
scheme.
