Dear Hiring Team:
Please accept this letter of interest regarding the music educator position at your
school. I learned of this position through a few different sources. As a current, and
soon to be graduated, music education student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau
Claire, I am looking forward to continuing my career path as a music educator at
your school.
After doing some research into your school district, I have found that this position
would be the perfect fit for me. Through my education, as well as through other
outside sources, I have had a lot of experience working with students in classrooms
from preschool up through high school. Through my other various jobs and
volunteer activities, I have become a more responsible, dedicated individual who is
willing to put in the effort to make a difference in the lives of others. I have taken on
roles within my college community to help better other students lives, as well as to
help me grow as a leader and a role model for other students.
My enclosed resume contains further details about my past, but I want to
emphasize how great I would be for this position. I have grown a lot throughout my
college career, and the more I have experienced, observed, and participated in
activities around campus, the more I have changed to become the person that I am
today. Based on what I have found about your school district, I think my mindset,
my goals, and my idea of a great learning environment fit in perfectly with your
school, and I would love to become a part of that and help it to grow in any way that
I can.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can provide you with. I will be calling in
the next 1-2 weeks to follow up on this letter. I can be reached at 920-716-6123. I
do have class during the day, but if I do not answer, please let a message and I will
get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Respectfully,
April Schneider
