As an Assurance Assistant Manager Experience Management at EY, you will be responsible for ensuring effective resource scheduling on scheduling tools while considering resource management guidelines, processes, and protocols. You will serve as an experience management lead for assigned Area/regions/sector teams, managing a team of 15-20 professionals. Your role will involve providing strategic thought leadership, subject matter expertise, liaising with middle and senior management on resource management decisions, leading deployment strategies, and driving compliance to EM guidelines for the assigned portfolios. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving people development and enhancing skill sets within the team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Contribute to the success of the business through strategic thought leadership, optimization, initiatives, and enhancing skill sets within the team. - Serve as a subject matter expert on resource management concepts and scheduling tools for assigned Area/location/sectors. - Drive quality initiatives within the team and ensure compliance with defined processes, protocols, and guidelines. - Monitor the business's health, track key metrics, analyze trends, and provide analytical support to the team and stakeholders. - Provide inputs related to headcount and budget planning. - Lead complex projects related to planning and resource scheduling. - Drive opportunities for process improvement/re-engineering. - Develop a strong business continuity framework for self and the team. - Lead people engagement and people development activities to create a positive work environment. - Collaborate with other EM Assistant managers and share best practices. **Skills and Attributes for Success:** - Self-motivated professionals with strong teaming and people management skills. - Ability to supervise a team of 15-20 professionals, preferably cross-location. - Strong focus on meeting timelines and delivering high-quality service. - Strong time management and analytical skills. - Program management skills and prior experience in leading scheduling/staffing projects preferred. - Strong stakeholder/client management experience is mandatory. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. **Qualifications Required:** - Graduates with more than 9 years of relevant, post-qualification experience focused on resource management, scheduling, and workforce planning concepts. - Minimum 7 years of experience in resource management, capacity planning, scheduling, and forecasting for more than 1,000 resources is mandatory. - Experience with resource management tools and scheduling techniques is mandatory. - More than 6 years of experience in directly supervising teams is mandatory. - Experience in cross-location team management is preferred.
