Job Description
Job Overview The Sales Manager Loan Against Property is responsible for achieving LAP business targets by sourcing new customers, managing channel relationships, driving sales activities, and ensuring smooth end-to-end loan processing. The role requires strong market knowledge, customer management skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team . Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Sales Source new LAP customers through direct sales, DSAs, connectors, and referral networks. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for Loan Against Property. Generate leads through various on-ground activities, market visits, and relationship management. Conduct customer meetings for profiling, requirement understanding, and product pitching. 2. Channel & Relationship Management Build and manage relationships with DSAs, channel partners, CA networks, and real estate consultants. Provide training and product knowledge sessions to improve channel productivity. Resolve partner queries and ensure smooth coordination for login-to-disbursement. 3. Loan Processing & Coordination Collect and verify all required documents from customers. Coordinate with credit, legal, and technical teams for file approval. Ensure adherence to policy norms and maintain high-quality sourcing. Follow up on pending documents and ensure timely disbursements. 4. Market Intelligence Track competitor products, pricing, and market trends. Provide feedback to management for product and process enhancement. Identify new potential markets or customer segments. 5. Compliance & Reporting Maintain accurate MIS and daily sales reports. Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory norms, and audit requirements. Monitor portfolio quality and support collections team if required. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of LAP products (Home loans/Mortgage). Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Good understanding of credit assessment and documentation. Relationship-building and networking skills. Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets. Customer-first approach with problem-solving attitude. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree (Any degree). Min 3 - 4 years of experience in mortgage/LAP/secured loans sales. Existing relationships with DSAs and connectors is a strong advantage. Work Environment Field-intensive role with frequent customer and DSA visits. Coordination with internal credit, operations, legal, and technical teams.
