Job Description
As an Assistant Director in EY Lead Advisory Strategy and Transactions (SaT) team, you will play a crucial role in providing tactical and strategic advice to clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading a team of professionals throughout the M&A deal cycle, from origination to closure for EY Lead Advisory clients - Originating and nurturing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to grow the regional practice, specifically in the Healthcare sector - Collaborating with other service lines to deliver integrated transaction advisory services - Actively participating in building an industry-focused and niche M&A Lead Advisory practice - Sharing expertise and market insights to enhance the firm's reputation in the Strategy and Transactions space Skills and attributes required for success in this role include: - Good understanding of the M&A deal lifecycle and ability to analyze industries and companies for strategic insights - Strong communication, presentation, and team building skills - Knowledge of valuations principles, financial statements, DCF valuation, merger models, and financial due diligence - Expertise in financial research and analytical skills To qualify for this position, you must have: - MBA (Finance) OR Certified Financial Analyst OR Chartered Accountant - 12-15 years of front-end M&A exposure in Investment Banking or Equity research - Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver key deliverables, particularly in the healthcare sector - Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client relationship management - Expert knowledge of research databases such as Capital IQ, One Source, Factiva, Thomsonone, etc. Additionally, having project management skills, team management skills, and exposure to tools like Gen AI, VBA, PowerBI will be an added advantage.
