Victor (Johnny Depp) and Victoria's (Emily Watson) families have arranged their marriage. Though they like each other, Victor is nervous about the ceremony. While he's in a forest practicing his lines for the wedding, a tree branch becomes a hand that drags him to the land of the dead. It belongs to Emily, who was murdered after eloping with her love and wants to marry Victor. Victor must get back aboveground before Victoria marries the villainous Barkis Bittern (Richard E. Grant).

I LOVED IT!!!! My favorite Tim Burton movie. I missed it as a child in theaters. I rewatched it 2 years ago being the first time since my childhood and man did I enjoy rewatching it. And I told myself that when this movie has a 20th anniversary rerelease in theaters I would watch it in the eaters. Thank God that I did and had this opportunity!!! I loved it so much Beautiful film!! 🎞️ 🎥

Still an absolute delight, twenty years later. Beautiful animation, superb characters, great music, touching love story. My go to Halloween film that I watch every year at home. Seeing it again on the big screen this year was spectacular.
