Located off the coast of Costa Rica, the Jurassic World luxury resort provides a habitat for an array of genetically engineered dinosaurs, including the vicious and intelligent Indominus rex. When the massive creature escapes, it sets off a chain reaction that causes the other dinos to run amok. Now, it's up to a former military man and animal expert to use his special skills to save two young brothers and the rest of the tourists from an all-out, prehistoric assault.

Every Movie Has a Lesson

Just as the dictionary definition of "spectacle" states, the blockbuster is unusual, notable, and entertaining in an eye-catching, dramatic, and very public way. It is big, loud, and dumb, but, hot damn, it sure is fun.

This movie was great, almost. The tone, idea, and basically almost everything about this movie was perfect. My biggest issue with the story was the characters, and the fact that we don’t see much of the park being open. The characters were barely explored, and seem very shallow. The designs of all of the dinosaurs got a lot worse, but it still worked for me. The idea of a hybrid dinosaur being made for entertainment was so creative, and something that everybody would have wanted to see. But only once. The Velociraptors should have been dangerous every moment they were on screen, and instead of Blue being the most friendly Raptor, she should have been the most fierce. She could be the villain second to the Indominus Rex. Amazing movie.
