It happens in an Indonesian rural area where the people there don't ever meet with horror like that, where ordinary people suddenly become vicious and cannibal and can also be brought back from the dead. They know ghosts, but ghosts only exist at night, not in the daylight. Also, the police, as ordinary police all over the world (except Hollywood or American police), are not trained to shoot people who attack them, but try to subdue them first... That's reality, not stupidity. So, if you want to watch a brutal and gory zombie movie that attacks ordinary people who react as ordinary people, not like game characters or suddenly become elite soldiers as in Hollywood movies...
