SCAM- claims never approved

Denied a claim for my pup for allergies (specifically paw licking) because he had a prior ear infection once. They’re trying to claim it as a “chronic pre-existing condition”. The two have 0 correlation and didn’t know one single ear infection (treated with abx) is chronic. They’ve never approved any of our claims. Feel like this company is a scam.

Kind and compassionate service

I cannot thank you enough for the support during the recent medical crisis with my dog (August 15 - September 13), Argo. Your entire team was patient and compassionate throughout, gracefully correcting my errors, and ensuring the financial situation was not an added stressor throughout this nightmare.
I’m sorry to report that we were unable to save Argo, he passed on September 13th, once we determined that fighting this disease further was not the humane thing to do. He passed in my arms, peacefully and respectfully with the medical assistance of his primary care team. He was the best boy ever.
Once again, thanks for being so supportive and caring throughout. We will definitely use Embrace in the future.

It's almost two weeks and they slow pay my simple claims for meds and prescription dog food

They lump several different conditions in one group to keep from covering the claims. They slow pay simple claims like meds and prescription dog food. And delay paying by requiring additional info from vet already submitted. I researched all insurance company and thought they were the best. I'm reconsidering and might redraw my endorsement to over 500 pet owners in my group.

Customer service was great!

My customer service experience was awesome. I got a policy for my puppy right after I got him, he’s now 10 months old and he broke his tooth. I called to clarify coverage before going through with his appointment with the dentist and customer service was knowledgeable, friendly, and fast to answer.

I’ve been a vet tech for 8 years and know that pet insurance can be misunderstood. This is why it’s important to understand your coverage before you need to use it. Being able to get on the phone and quickly get an answer on my dog’s case before I approved/denied a treatment plan is so appreciated. Not always possible but when it is it’s definitely worth the time.

Wellness plan pays fairly quickly but…

Wellness plan pays fairly quickly but when I have had to file several claims trying to get diagnosis and help for very sick gastritis issues they are dragging their feet and are trying to find a reason not to reimburse the ER Vet and specialist vet testing bills. They have been sent ALL records twice from 3 vet offices and still won't contact me or take care of the claims. Still waiting on a final decision.

So far so good

So far, Embrace Insurance has done well in taking care of the heavy expenses for my Cavalier Spaniel. Unfortunately, he needed several surgeries on the same leg, and Embrace covered two of them, and hope they will take care of the third needed surgery.

Best pet insurance among the options

We just recently officially adopted another pug and needed to get our new little guy snipped and chipped. Embrace provides the best option for veterinary wellness coverage (if at all) on top of pet emergency health coverage. Going through USAA for my Embrace premium is definitely great benefit.

I have used Embrace for two dogs

I have used Embrace for two dogs. Both had cancer. My current dog (Beso) has a type of cancer that had a sudden onset. Embrace covered the event and was extremely thorough and compassionate. Within a week the claim was filed, researched, paid and deposited in my account. I was so grateful.

Highly recommend!!

So thankful for this company! Our 3 year old healthy dog incurred almost $16k in emergency vet bills over 3 days during Labor Day weekend We were floored and would have been gutted were it not for Embrace. They paid so quickly after one claim submission and no further questions. Highly recommend!

My dog got bit by another dog in the…

My dog got bit by another dog in the park and I took her to the vet. I submitted the vet invoice through the mobile app portal and about a week later, I was notified that the claim was approved and reimbursement would be mailed to me. I'm very thankful to have Embrace Pet Insurance. Although I've had years where I never filed a claim, it's really helpful to have it when accidents happen. I'm also very happy to see that the claim was quickly approved without any additional followup.

Submit claim for Dizzy's itch, ears infection, fleas

Submitting a claim for Dizzy's itchiness, allergy, plus mild bacterial ear infection (both ears) was easy. Also, possible fleas so to treat or prevent fleas the vet ordered Bravecto. Now I will see what the insurance pays and how quickly.

Horrible

Horrible, my veterinarian office has submitted everything I’ve been with them since my dog was a puppy and they still never reimburse us for anything. We spend 100$ a month and nothing in return . Long claim process and never end up covering anything . Horrible customer service.

Embrace has been great

Embrace has been great. It has been very easy to submit claims and our dog has never been denied coverage. Having pet insurance helps give you peace of mind when your animal is dealing with an emergency. I highly recommend Embrace.

Had for over a year and had zero…

Had for over a year and had zero benefits from my plan. Everything needed had something written up on why they couldnt pay. Id rather pay out if pocked when something happens instead of paying this company for no help every month. Bye

Wellness rewards have saved me on…

Wellness rewards have saved me on numerous occasions. Other insurance has a limit per vet visit but with embrace I can take my dog to the vet weekly and have it covered.

However because they are the reimbursement type of insurance you do have to meet their limit when it comes to accidentals or illnesses before getting reimbursed. Because of my dog he meets those limits easily but if your dog is young and healthy you should consider what you pay for

My dog Ginger got hit by a car and the…

My dog Ginger got hit by a car and the bill was outrageous. Thank God I had embrace insurance. I submitted the bill to and they took care of everything for me. Within a week, the check was in the mail, and then I had more bills to submit to embrace and The payment was there in three days in my account. I recommend embrace to everyone I talk to if they need Pat insurance for their animal like me.

Responsive and compassionate

Embrace was responsive and compassionate throughout the claim process. My 16yo cat was sick for a while and passed away recently. All of her claims were processed promptly and the reimbursement was what I had expected, no surprise in the process. Claim submission was very easy and instructions were clear. The premium was pricey for sure but they cover senior pets which is not usually accepted by a lot of other insurance. Worth the price IMO.

Embrace Covers Chemo Treatment

There are so many horror stories about pet insurance out there, but we have only had positive experiences with Embrace. Our dog is going through cancer treatment right now, and I was so concerned that something would go wrong with insurance... But Embrace has been covering the costs as expected! Their customer service staff is wonderful and claims are processed within a couple weeks.

They paid :)

One of our dogs got aspiration pneumonia. He didn't make it, but the fight for his life was about $12,000. They paid according to our plan. The first time you submit a claim on a pet can take a little longer than you would want, but we had our money within a month. Was so thankful we had the policy and they didn't give us a hard time using it.
