The Hanover covered repair costs

The Hanover covered the costs to repair our 2019 Lincoln MKC, which is our only vehicle, after the front end was damaged in an urban collision. Some figured it would have been "totaled," which would have cost us more money to replace.

The associate was very helpful when…

The associate was very helpful when filing and/or inquiring about a claim for the busted window in our 2005 Dodge Truck. They were quick to advise of potentials companies to replace the window as well as the process when opening the claim. Friendly and accommodating when asking questions.

It was my first time using Road…

It was my first time using Road Assistance with Hanover. A tow truck was dispatched to pick up my car which had a flat tire, and they arrived within the time frame given. It was a Friday afternoon, and traffic is usually backed up but somehow the tow truck arrived and we got my car to the shop before they closed. All in all, it was a good experience, very satisfied with outcome.

Outstanding agent, went the extra mile!…

Our agent was fantastic at answering our questions and helping us get our window replaced. Vicky Kosik is a consummate professional who also happens to be the nicest agent ever, anywhere. You should give her a raise! She was our light in the darkness, our guide, and she made the whole experience easy and painless.

Our agent Heather Madland was nasty and…

Our agent Heather Madland was nasty and insensitive with our claim. One of their company's products ruined my wife's eye health. Despite pictures and receipts, she was very mean towards my wife and unwilling to understand our issue. This incident occurred right before our family's vacation, and we spent the entire time in and out of doctor offices and urgent cares. She does not understand customer service basics and ruined our opinion of this company. I would not recommend her and unfortunately them to anyone!

Great experience

Hanover was great with a recent claim for a large section of fencing that was damaged by a tree that fell during a storm. My representative Amanda was understanding, responsive and very timely with all of her correspondence. I couldn't be happier.

Hail storm

In April, 2024, my area was hit by a hail storm. Hanover was quick to respond to my roofer who worked with Seek Now. The checks were cut right away and my roofer and solar panel company were paid within two weeks. My roofer said sometimes they wait for months from other insurance companies. Great job Dawn, my adjuster!

Professional handling of the issue

Professional handling of the issue. No problem with communication for the initial claim and genuine care for me. Swift response, choice of who I wanted to get the repairs done. You even contacted the car rental place who in turn also contacted me.
Hanover Insurance did exactly what I expected from a good insurance company. Will definitely recommend

They were prepared in every aspect

Filing a claim was an entirely new experience for me and I was EXTREMELY overwhelmed after my vehicle was totaled. My car was my world, and I watched in horror yards away as some inattentive driver sped directly into her while she was parked.

Hanover, along with my local insurance agent, were amazing. I was in bed consoling myself with an astonishing amount of ice cream and pizza, and they kept this claim as easy as possible for me and on a remarkable pace. Any person I worked with was very pleasant, willing to investigate issues, and patient with me as I located the necessary info.

Not ONCE did I ever even CONSIDER questioning if this claim was on the right track. It was just obvious they had it; they had me. Just wish we didn't have to meet under such circumstances. lol.

Laurel was very, very helpful in providing the documentation necessary to close a refinancing. The bank in question revised the "ask" several times, but Laurel kept up.

Claim results

My adjuster Joe oversaw my claim. He cooperated with my repair shop, and my car was repaired ahead of time. I was very pleased with how Hanover helped repair my car and helped me with a rental.
