Terrible Customer Service
I was hesitant to write about my bad experience but after seeing others experiencing similar issues, I thought I would share in hopes that the company will address these problems and hopefully make adjustments to their workflows/processes.
I ordered one of their most expensive paddles (amongst other things) and even paid the extra money for expedited shipping. When it arrived, it was the wrong paddle. It also had two very noticeable indentations on the lip of the paddle.
I called customer service who told me in order to get things started, I had to take pictures of the wrong paddle and email it to them. Maybe I’m just used to great customer service from other companies, but when I called, the agent I spoke to not only sounded super annoyed, but did not even acknowledge their mistake. Also, why they couldn’t just start the process and send me a return label, I have no idea. Why would I lie about receiving a paddle I did not order/want? Anyways, I sent the email and 2 business days go by and I receive no response despite being told I would receive one within 24hrs. On day 3 I decided to call again and was told the same information. I told them an email was sent and that I did not want them to correct my order but instead to just refund me for the paddle and the shipping fee. He said he “had to check if that was something they could do.” Um, what? He comes back on the line to let me know that after talking to someone, he informed me that they were looking into the matter and that they have to complete an inventory count to figure out what happened before anything else could be done. He was unsure how long that process was going to take. It was so ridiculous I was hoping it was a joke. It wasn’t. I paid for 3-day shipping to ensure I would get the paddle in time for a tournament and now I have to wait who knows how long to even just get my money back? Yeah, I don’t think so. The fact that I had to insist that they sent me a return shipping label to fix their mistake is insane.
I tracked my order and it looks like they received the product back today. Let’s see how long it takes to process my return…
I will not be purchasing from this company again and I sincerely hope others have better luck with their orders.
