Very Happy with our experience with TURBRO.
My son-in-law bought 4 TURBRO Mini Splits for the apartments he rents out. He ended up selling one of the houses before the install and offered us a 12000 BTU unit at a fair price. That was the first I’d heard of TURBRO. I watched a couple UTube Videos about installation and put that unit in without any issues in September.
We were so impressed with how that unit worked, both heating and cooling, that we ordered a 9000 BTU unit for our bedroom. The unit arrived in 3 or 4 days. When I started to install it , the indoor unit was not pressurized when I removed the caps. Indicating a leak somewhere in the system. I emailed customer service and heard back the same day. Provided them with a picture of the serial # and they promptly shipped out another indoor unit.
Once again it arrived 3 days later and I was able to complete the install with no further issues. Can’t ask to be treated any better than that.
I don’t know yet how these units will affect my electric bill. I should be able to heat my home for all but the coldest days this winter. So I should be saving on pellets and electricity for our pellet stove. Not to mention how clean ( no dust like with pellets ) , and how quiet this is compared to our pellet stove. If they are as economical as advertised I will buy another double unit for our other two bedrooms. My advice, buy one, they are a great bang for your buck.
