I don't mind paying for a high quality dating service on one condition: it must work for real resulting in real face-to-face meetings.
AFFDate.com actually works like this. But Tinder is not the case. Free and Tinder+ memberships basically lead to nothing. So I tried their Platinum membership to no avail. I thought it could be something that would finally work since it's the most expensive option, but the results were pretty much the same: same fake profiles, a few extremely ridiculous mathes living hundreds of miles away and automatic renewal of subscription without my authorization. Don't touch it with a barge pole, now it is not what it used to be at its nascent stage.

Just stopped working.
I can't see my matches anymore.
I cancelled my subscription and the month I had paid already was canceled. Thats theft.
I bought subscription again but it still doesn't work. Not happy at all

The app only lets you see 1 overseas like every week even if you have set your settings not to receive likes from overseas. Tinder is only in it for as much money as possible by stopping likes reaching you and not putting your profile out to people in this country. The fcc or fca and the BBC should investigate Tinder ASAP

Upgraded to Gold.

Messages would not send.
Messages could not be received.
Matched Profiles cold not be viewed.
In-app purchases would not work.

Followed all troubleshooting steps both general and tinder recommendations. Both of which failed.

Only on the second email did I get a response from Sam saying he/she would pass this on. Then Sam decided to ignore all follow-up emails relating to it plus a refund option.

I had to go to Google directly to request the refund which was approved instantly as Tinder showed no signs of co-operating with this process.

Times are very hard for people. It makes me truly sick that Tinder would take payments from people and refuse to fix issues on their side or issue refunds when asked, even when evidence of issues is provided.

Match.com (The parent company who owns Tinder, Hinge, and others) also had no interest in responding when I informed them of their broken service and asked for a refund. Simply put, they just do not/ did not care.

Hopefully, alternatives to this will exist shortly. And hopefully, they do not merge with Match.com. If so, we all once again will get inadequate and amateur service and customer support.

I made the huge mistake of becoming a gold member. Totally useless perks that really offer no real value whatsoever. On top of that, there's non-existent customer support or service: No real explanation whatsoever was given for a ...ban decided by their "automated systems". No chance whatsoever either given to the banned user to defend themselves. This is real CENSORSHIP at its finest form. Those tactics have made their app, as well as their share price, to be on a steady decline.

I am never surprised when a company that appears to have no accessible customer support department delivers a terrible service. That is, no service whatsoever. They take your money but there is no actual help for users experiencing issues with the app.
I don’t understand why the apparently large pond cannot be sorted out to exclude people I don’t want included in my selection eg MEN.
Stupidly, I paid for platinum membership. Waste of money.

Banned for no good reason! Consequently banned from Bumble and Plenty of Fish as they ae part of same group of companies and have a shared database!!!!

We all felt Tinder seems to block and leave in the state indefinite selfie verification REAL user profiles to leave scammer profiles in peace without bothering them, but now there is something new: the majority of men on Tinder are openly sharing that all they want is sex and they don't want a relationship. That's ok for the men to share this with their female match, but as a woman, you offend the male user that reports your profile to be a fraud if you start to set some standards for your own dating needs and desires. If you are a woman, tell a man what you want, specifically that you want to date a provider that can care for you and that you don't want to date a broke guy.
By just sharing what you want, male user report your profile to be a scam but they dont feel to be a scam to claim with no shame that all they want from girls there is sex, why women gets penalise to share the type of connection or arrangement they want and needs, precisely to desire a working man with money that can add value to her life? Tinder for the 4 times has blocked my acocunt on selfie verification despite they already did this before, this time I feel this is some sort discrimination because Tinder as no right to try to control the sort of connection that their user male and female needs , especially of their female users, not every women on tinder want just sex with some stranger that don't even want to bother to know her name, some women out here still want to find a connection with a provider, I feel this issue should be reported to unia and the European commission,
The worst part is nobody at Tinder really provide a support so you offend don't know what is wrong and how you can fix the issue. For my part I feel descriminated as a woman to state my standards and getting report by men that simply are annoyed to match with a beautiful woman that they cannot just sleep with and woman that stands for her rights to be treated right. Tinder should protect such person as this is a sort of descrimination

I was told by my friends to use Tinder, I tried to log on and found my phone number that I tried to log in with was banned. I have never used this site and the customer service I have received when trying to resolve this issue has been beyond disappointing. They tell me to log in to lodge a compliant but each time I try my number is banned, I ask why it is banned and I am told violation of T&C's ??? How do you violate something you have no access to ?? I have never dealt with such an unhelpful organization.

You are always prompted to pay for better features, but no matter how much you pay you just go round and round in circles, swiping fake profiles. Very few people actually reply. Even fewer of them are mentally healthy. I met my woman on AFFDate.com
within a month of signing up. She is the woman of my dreams and she is more than I could ask for! When the site is legit, you WILL have success there and it should not take long. But Tinder is designed on the basis of deception with one single goal: to rip off the unsuspecting users. It’s unbelievably difficult to find a life partner or even a one night stand there.

i got catfished by a 90-year-old Indian posing as an 18-year-old Latino. never in my 60 years of life have i ever been catfished like this, "she" asked to come over to my house I said yes, we she got here he reached into his bag pulled out a butplu& and proceeded to use it to scoop out my organs causing me to sh!t all over his face causing him to get airlifted to Spain for emergency surgery but sadly he didn't make it

Silly little app, filled with OF and Insta models looking for subscribers.
Also, not new, but highly pay to win app.

Been trying this for 1 yr now, but because I don’t pay, I’ve never gotten a single match.

Awful experience, can’t recommend this app, or any other dating apps for that matter.. safest bet is to keep your head down focus on yourself.

The app is a heap of poo. I've been on here for a few weeks. No likes, no matches. I'm a very busy working professional. I haven't got time to go out dating. The Tinder app wants me to part with my money and pay for extra benefits. However, I'm not slow or stupid enough to do this like others. Their is absolutely no reason why I shouldn't be getting loads of matches with beautiful women out there and meeting...ridiculous app, heap of poo, a con. I wouldn't recommend others to download and definitely not to subscribe to anything paid on there. Got booted out of the app, logged back in, location services do not work = poor review, bad word of mouth to others about Tinder at every turn, the wrong guy to get it wrong with.

I have just done my last day on this awful app.. cost £115 per year and you don’t get to see all your likes and your likes don’t get seen by others unless you sign up to the premium subscription which is another £13 per month.. absolute extortion from what was once a great site but is now just another money grabbing scam unfortunately

Seriously, my account was block, because of a stupid joke from me and one of my pic, after they unblock my account, but i wasnt able to send message to my contact,

I send a request, yesterday in the evening, during the night the service team, answer me that my account need a level 2 tech, 2 hour later everything solve,

Do not waste your time!
Tinder doesn’t work. Perhaps because all the different features that prevent people from messaging freely. No idea. And this issue is sort of new. About two or three years ago, I used to get so many messages and effective interactions. I met my last boyfriend through the app!!!. That’s not happening anymore. With a premium subscription, I get no messages. When it’s me who initiates, I get no replies. I am using Match at the same time so I can compare: from Match I get interactions every single day, and I’ve been already in a couple of dates.

Dating app is a scam! I only get matches when my subscription has expired. When I join again by paying, the results of the matches are always terriible included fake profiles profiles from Thailand Russia and old women It's one big profit model.

This app is a joke adverts every 5th person.. never match with any body at all.. I did pay for the week and I did have alot of matches however most were 4000 too 5000 miles away or they were the size and shape of hippos..

I was crushing it on tinder and reporting scammers, I even reported a girl who's profile said she was 18 but when we exchanged numbers she revealed that she was 16! How the hell do they allow that to happen in the first place!? Then after opening a bumble profile tinder immediately banned me for a selfie review, there is no possible way to ever speak to a human at tinder...and I paid for a platinum subscription!!! They are terrible
