Good app but very poor customer support. I've been locked out of my premium account for 2 days and had no reply.
In addition the help pages are out of date and don't apply to the web pages you actually see.

This company and app are a joke it may be free but how you meant to chat to people. Apparantly now ive just had a reply from badoo customer service stating to start a conversation you need to buy credits or premium. Well thats funny i was told before that you can chat to anyone for free. This company mislead with inaccurate information. This app needs deleting asap as its pointless.

I did not get the subscription I've paid for. This app is a scam, they will charge your creditcard for no service provided. I have applied for a chargeback and will report Badoo to the financial authorities, in this day and age, in the Netherlands, this is unacceptable. After a week my emails have not been replied, nor have I received a subscription or refund, hence my negative review.


Edit: I dont have social media, I have contacted you per email a week ago.

I did an experiment to prove my thoughts of being conned by Badoo. Im a man and i created a new account, i looked at 40 female profiles and saved them as a bookmark, these profiles that had a chat box in view meaning you can message that profile for free, over the next 2 days i messaged 10 people, now i cannot message the other 30 people as the chat box is no longer there, now Badoo is forcing you to but credits to messages those 30 saved profiles. This behaviour should be illegal. They know who you previously viewed and who you saved and they have removed the option of sending them a free message.

EDIT - after reading their reply, they dont admit to changing the status of people who you can and cannot message. They are forcing you to but extortionate credits, to message someone that will probably ignore you anyway.

BADOO ARE MONEY GRABBING BAR STEWARDS

Badoo has a security verification feature that will periodically provide its subscribers with an alpha-numeric code and ask that we retype the code to gain access to the site. This alpha numeric code is case-sensitive. Well, this security feature recently began to malfunction. The malfunction was in the form of denying access to the site notwithstanding the retyping of the code in the designated box. Customer support does not respond. Badoo continues to charge for their service notwithstanding the denial of access to the site by virtue of this malfunctioning security feature. I am now left having to dispute the charges with my credit card company, or worse, initiating litigation against Badoo to stop charging for their service given their denial of access to the site.

We are now married and have 2 kids together
Never thought I would find happiness on a dating site as I went on so many and didn't find love. Now I'm thankful I gave badoo a go as I found my soulmate

I've tried several and this is the most decent dating app. It doesn't allow much room for bad people and you can hide your profile from the ages that don't suit you. And "swipe" is not obligatory. The payment is once and cheap unless you want extra features. However, it is not known much here in Turkiye, and most people keep using those crappy apps. I suggest the makers advertise the app more.

Cant register. My gender is not represented. I'm male, can't find male. Or any other form of male gender. I assume that males are not welcome? All other genders are allowed, but male is impossible to select. There is another option, that some people use.

However, I am not cis... I am a male. So my gender is NOT represented and I feel discriminated against.


Badoo their reaction is that the platform is for all. Ok, add male then. :)

The worst of the worst.
The site does not guarantee any security or protection to its users and allows stalkers and scammers to have free rein. They will only steal your money mocking you. Furthermore, most of the reviews that give 5 stars are fake, if you notice they are made by fake profiles that only have one review otherwise the average would be 1.1
Avoid this scam site like the plague

those guys kinda dizzy. they are totally managed in a wrong way just because of making good money after making a good dating site.. can you imagine that any page from badoo loading 10 seconds. sometimes a bit less mostly more!.. they're eating the money for some luxury with too much alcohol or something else probably now. :))

trustpilot, if you are so trusty platform why don't you allow to prove our complaints with some screenshots or screen recordings such as the ones that compares any other website's loading time and badoo's loading time?

millon times i tried to enter to badoo.com from my desktop and they always tried to send me kinda verification code and all came.. after 3 hours!...

nothing changed. badoo has a very poor internet connection globally and it has very big software failures that they can't solve.. can you imagine that you put the same version mobile app to the desktop version as is?! :)) It's not over, there's more.

and also imagine you have many chats on your profile and you can never sort who is online..

i am not talking about even visitors list all failore..

last edit 9 sep 2024: i had found my last lover on badoo and we lived together with her 3 years between 2017 - 2019 happily, thanks to badoo. and it is another case. badoo was good. sure still trying their best no doubt.. but they're kinda dizzy of making so much money they deserve. i don't know.
