My experience with TuneCore has been fantastic so far. The staff is incredibly professional, and the support team has been a huge help from day one. They took the time to explain everything in detail, which really made the process straightforward and transparent. I analyzed and compared for a long time. I opened accounts and paid for subscriptions with different distributors. I compared everything: the contract, comfort, technical support, synchronization conditions, publishing, promotion opportunities, attitude towards the author and copyright holder... And after 4 years of deep analysis of the work of many distributors, I came to the conclusion that TuneCore is the best. I am transferring my entire catalog to them for both distribution and publishing. I am glad that now I can really just do my creative work. I will trust them with everything else!

Due to an ‘issue’ with a couple of my releases, I have been receiving e-mails from so-called content review specialists. After corresponding with these for a while, I realized that these standard e-mails are being generated by AI’s. At least, that’s the way it looks. These are not real people answering these e-mails, they don’t actually respond to anything I write. I also asked one named ‘Frank’ if he is a robot or a real person and it didn’t answer. On the site there is no way to contact anyone real. The site just keeps leading you to their chatbot which just spews standard non-helpful information. I have really had enough of this and am closing my account forthwith.

Everything works well. The only thing Tunecore lacks today in my opinion is a fast and easy to reach customer service chat service , as we are all forced to slow email comunication which to solve some issues could be faster on a chat with live agents than on emails with no quickness when in a hurry it would help to be able to chat online realtime via tunecore websitebonly once logged in. Or a telephone number to accept customer services calls from tunecore info. This is what i would add.

ABSOLUTE VERY WORST MUSIC DISTRIBUTOR THAT I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. NOW EVERY TIME I OPEN A TICKET AND ASK THEM A QUESTION NO MATTER WHAT IT IS, I AUTOMATICALLY GET AN EMAIL BACK IMMEDIATELY SAYING "THIS TICKET IS CLOSED."
SO THEY NOW HAVE IT RIGGED SO THAT I CAN'T EVEN COMMUNICATE WITH THEM AT ALL. AND IF I CALL THEM, THEY PRETTY MUCH HANG UP ON ME AFTER A BRIEF AMOUNT OF B.S. THEY WON'T EVEN DELETE YOUR SONGS THAT HAVE BEEN TAKEN DOWN OFF OF YOUR DASHBOARD. AND THEY WON'T EVEN PAY YOU UNLESS YOU ENROLL WITH B.S. PAYONEER WHOM IS JUST AS BAD AS THEM. NOW I NEED TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO TAKE ALL OF MY SONGS DOWN AND GET THEM TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT SO I CAN MOVE ON TO A DIFFERENT MUSIC DISTRIBUTOR. I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL OCTOBER WHEN MY NEXT PAYMENT IS DUE WHICH THEY WILL NEVER GET AGAIN. THE ONLY GOOD THING THAT I CAN REALLY SAY THAT THEY DO IS PUT YOUR MUSIC OUT THERE VERY FAST. HOWEVER THEY MESS UP YOUR SONG TITLES LIKE IF YOU LIST YOUR TITLE AS "Pure Pleasure" THEY WILL MAKE IT LOOK LIKE AND LIST IT AS "pure Pleasure" AND THAT IS NOT CORRECTIBLE. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED.
AND FOR THOSE OUT THERE WHO MAY NOT KNOW THIS - IF YOU WANT TO CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT OR TAKE YOUR MUSIC DOWN AND THEY WON'T DO IT (SUCH AS IS THE CASE FOR ME) ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GET A DIFFERENT CARD SO THEY CANNOT CHARGE YOU ANYMORE AND ALSO IN RETURN THAT SHOULD REMOVE ALL OF YOUR MUSIC AS WELL. I GUESS I HAVE TO GO THAT ROUTE.

Someone I did musical work for suggested I make a TuneCore account, so I could get paid royalties, for a song that was supposedly making a bit of money. Cut to a year later...No money is being made so I decided against renewing the account. I created a ticket, was told to follow a link to a page where I was directed to take down my release that it also showed there were no releases. They closed the ticket and wouldn't open it back up. I sent several emails in which the reply was to go to the page to take down releases that weren't there. Then they charged my card for a renewed subscription.
Winning the lottery now seems easier than ever getting hold of them.

I've always found it easy to do business with/ through Tunecore. My music gets out to far more radio and streaming services than I'd ever imagined.
When I (screw up and) have to correct something, Tunecore is on it with me.

I wouldn't say Tunecore is perfect, but among all distributors, based on what I heard from other artists, it's probably one of the best. Fair price, nice interface, everything works as expected, otherwise a decent customer service will intervene in acceptable delays. In other words, I would recommend it.

Although your site may be easy for those younger or who hire others to maneuver around, its difficult for some of us. I know some of the questions were simple and much is not knowing the various nomenclature between my old analogue days and the online world. But your staff were extremely patience with me.

Avoid these scammers like the plague.
Hear me out.
They make it near impossible to close your account or cancel your renewal. And THEY WILL CHARGE YOU regardless of how many cancel renewal tickets you send. I went through so many purposely misleading articles and pages and realized how scammy TuneCore really is. So I'm left charged again for a renewal I made clear I didn't want weeks and weeks ago. I don't care about having lost the money but I DO care about the principles, and this shady kind of practice is a no go for me. Please look for another distributor if you want an actual trustworthy company with maybe even possibly real customer support handling your music.
