First off, I can’t even upload most of my songs, there’s like some weird thing that will say the song contains like something copyrighted or something like that, when it will be literally a brand new song I produced and recorded just days before, no samples used or anything.. but it just insists that theirs something I need like release forms to upload & it doesn’t even tell you what it is they “believe” is something I need permission for.. you can’t even reach anyone right there to find out if there is some type of misunderstanding with the whatever they use to to check the song, like maybe maybe my drums are similar to something, idk I have no idea, but it never fails no matter what, if I upload 10 songs 8 songs are going to be rejected.. idk if just maybe Ditto isn’t good to use for hip hop..
Even on a song where I used a few royalty free sounds from “Splice” which has never been an issue on any other distributors.. I even went to splice and downloaded the agreement for each sound or loop that I used and uploaded it with the song & still says it detects something I need permission for.. to the point I’m just lost and have no idea.. I just paid for this subscription and I can only release certain random songs of mine..

& then when it comes time to payout, they put your money in pending saying they have to check and verify??? & they just hold your money in pending for months with no updates… i already had to go through loops to even be able to upload the songs now when it’s time to pay there’s a whole other process to go through, which if they are denying my songs that I made from scratch and saying they detect something…
Of course their going to make up some type of thing they detected to not have to pay you.. so they just scam you for your subscription money and your royalty money:: with ZERO explanation on the exact issue.;;; complete scam

I had a generally positive experience with the upload process, it was straightforward and user friendly. However I was surprised to find that my account was flagged during the withdrawal stage. I've reached out to Spotify about this issue. As for customer support, it was excellent with other issues, but now that I want to follow up on my pending royalties it's been 10 days without a response. I'm hopeful that this will be resolved soon, and I'll update this if anything changes.

We were told our track had been approved and sent to stores, but a day later on the Ditto dashboard it is showing as still under review. The reason its important to have out track approved and sent to stores is so we can claim our Spotify for artist profile prior to the tracks release date. The reason for this is to give us enough time to pitch our first release to Spotify editors for playlists. Apparently Distrokid are faster with getting releases approved and sent to stores. But we think Ditto is a good platform and could be even greater if they just got releases sent out a bit quicker. I don't think its an unreasonable request since most new artists probably would want to have enough time to pitch there first release to Spotify etc. Spotify recommend pitching 2 weeks or more prior to the songs release date...

As an independent new-comer, Ditto allowed me to release my compositions to the world without hassle. I am in control of what is released and when. I am still learning all the technical bits but Ditto has made it a painless process. Thank you!!!!

Easy to operate . Price is good. Reponses always helpful although a bit slow getting back to me . However that could be due to Time zone changes. Otherwise would very much recommend

The experience with Ditto Music has been disappointing. I established a start-up label with the expectation of a seamless label experience as promised by Ditto. Yet, when my artists moved their music from other distributors to Ditto. Ditto labelled their music as fake and AI-generated, leading to its rejection. This not only undermines the contract but also the hard work of my artists. Based on this experience, I would advise solo artists and labels to consider other distribution services.

My experience was amazing to upload music and not only can you also polish your music to the promo plus plan is a banger when it comes to promotion campaigns but it is a good music distribution service to be with.
