It was actually nice to speak to a real…

It was actually nice to speak to a real person. Then finally get everything sorted within a short time rather than being online then the signal goes and you have to start all over again so thanks for being a human

Reassuringly easy and very competitive

I think the simplicity and ease of completing the transaction plus the fact that I can ACTUALLY speak to a real human being if necessary clinched the deal. Also I have a collection of bonsai trees and knowing that you will plant a tree on my behalf is lovely. Thank you.

To get the best service

Again I took insurance 😁 with Vavista, and overall, my experience has been a bit mixed. On the positive side, their pricing is quite competitive, which initially drew me in. They also offer some unique wellness benefits, which is something you don’t typically find with car insurance – it’s a nice touch if you’re interested in health and wellness support.

My husband died suddenly last month

My husband died suddenly last month, after having to sell his car I phoned to let them know, I was hit with charges right left and centre for cancelling policy (other companies I’ve had to deal with after his death could not have been more helpful). Absolutely disgusted and I would never recommend this company to anyone. No compassion whatsoever

Very bad

I had a very short lived and unpleasant experience with this company. Initially I was very happy with the quote they offered for me but there was a misunderstanding about my address. I phoned them to change it and not only they charge £50 for that, but they said my new address is uninsurable even though it's a lot of nicer and safer place in comparison to my previous address. So I had no choice but to cancel my policy before even it's started and they already took first's month deposit which was over £70 which is apparently unrefundable. So I've wasted my time and £70 for absolutely nothing. The person on the phone was very nice and very apologetic for everything but overall experience was very bad. I can't believe I was charged for absolutely nothing as my policy was only due to start two weeks later.

Wish I don’t need to talk to them

It is the cheapest of many providers without black box.
I am not able to tell how good or how bad they are because I just started using them so I’d give a netural 3 stars.

Had my renewal quote

Had my renewal quote, which was sky high, went online and found this company, offering £400 cheaper than my previous insurance company, the reviews were good and easy to get cover.

Went looking for Car insurance

Needed to renew my car insurance and the current insurer was very expensive.
Went on comparison website and Vavista came joint top, nearly a £100 cheaper than my existing insurer!
Chose Vavista because of name! All very easy to deal with, even for less technically gifted.

Avoid this company…the hidden charges…

Avoid this company…the hidden charges on the policy and customer service are awful. No understanding or reasonable approach to problems just threats of debt agency if you don’t comply with their demands.

Con artists, Fraudulent behaviour.

Recently changed my car over on the policy so had to pay out for my premium, Paid a Deposit of around £200 and wanted to finance the rest which was agreed so the total came to £605 and it was all paid off, Until Vavista/Go skippy decided to take an extra £604 from my bank account without my permission.

Will be reporting them to the FCA once I have my money refunded back to me.
