Seaberg Pontoon Rentals highly recommends Lonestar Tracking!

We bought and subscribed 20 of your basic tracking systems for our fleet of pontoons in Munising Michigan. The service along the Pictured Rocks Shoreline is iffy at best, but these units have blown our minds! They do so much more than our previous, more expensive units we previously had! We LOVE them! 5* rating from Seaberg Pontoons!

Lonestar tracking device surprised me…

Lonestar tracking device surprised me with how well their device works and it's accuracy to spot my property with their online tracker that tracks my taxi and it shows its latest location while moving every 5 minutes with pin point accuracy and customer service was polite throughout the quick process. I originally bought the Oyster device and I also bought the Barra device. I have property in multiple states and Lonestar has me winning and I don't worry anymore because i can pull up the tracker and see that my property is where i left it. Easy install and it comes with batteries, so I will be a paid customer for the life of my businesses. Job well done Lonestar.

Looking for Waldo, not anymore!

The telemetrics of the gps unit are far superior to other units we have tried. The route history is invaluable for tracking vehicles. This gps unit is extremely sensitive when it comes to movement. The pinpoint accuracy is excellent. The value of this gps unit far outweighs the few extra bucks this units yearly tracking fee costs compared to our last units we were using. We will definitely be staying with Lonestar Tracking for our company's tracking needs.

Tracking 6 Livestock Guard Dogs

I have these trackers on six livestock guard dogs. The dogs are easily monitored from my phone regardless of where I am. The batteries last for months even with very frequent updates. Customer service is wonderful. I attached the trackers to the collars with zip ties then slipped the tracker/collar through a piece of 4.5" waterproof shrink tube. After applying just enough heat with a heat gun, for the tube to enclose the the tracker, I zip tied it again, snipped the ends, making sure the ends didn't rub against skin then put it on the dog.

good value for the price

The location reported is pretty accurate, within 20 yards I would say, which is enough to help us locate my elderly mother in law if an emergency ever happens. We did some research before we purchased this service, and I think this was the best value for the price.

Great.

After registering and paying for the yearly subscription it took longer than the 24 hours to show on the app, but once it all went through it works well. I like the notification options and the 5 minutes update option. It has been very handy.

Great Customer Service

The customer service is always excellent. Not many companies I deal with have customer service this good. Always document everything and when calling back they are up to date with the status of your last call and a lot of time you’re get the same person you talked to previously. Most times they can help you with most problems the first time.

Simple and works

Overall, the app works well. At some update point it lost the ability to give location details on the map. Business names no longer come up. I called support and they put in a bug report, but it’s yet to be fixed almost a year later.

Their hardware works well, although they lack the ability to change from 5 minute updates to real time without buying new units. They also don’t allow you to remote into their hardware which is a nice feature offered by other companies.

I use Lonestar for my overlanding…

I use Lonestar for my overlanding trailer to help keep it protected while on camping trips. I love the peace of mind it offers and its reliability. The app is easy to use and it’s fun to track miles/hours thru it on our trips. I also like the long battery life on the tracker

Impressive

I am very impressed with the quality a the gps unit and the accuracy it provides. The website and app are easy to navigate and provide all the needed information. It is a little more expensive than other units but seems to be worth it so far.

A solution to a multiple problems!

A solution to a multiple problems!

As a user for the last 4 years, lone star tracking has saved me in several cases including proving we plowed snow at a certain parking lot at a certain time by sending the customer the gps zig zag data. I wouldn't have been paid without lonestar tracking!

Peace of mind on many levels including theft protection but also additional proof of service is worth every penny!

Cattle GPS Tag

I bought the cattle tracker tag. The product itself is okay requires a lot of full sun exposure to keep working. In the winter we don't get much sun and in these summer cattle are in the shade a lot. But the actual GPS part of it works great. And the company is absolutely wonderful to work with!! Super helpful and accommodating.

So far, okay

The device is good quality, but it has trouble with Geofence accuracy in our four acre pasture. It will often say the dog is in the neighbor's yard when she is not, or sometimes that she is in the neighbor's pasture two doors down. So far, we don't think she's has left our pasture. We are still happy that we can monitor her and the the collar cost and battery life are excellent.

What a fantastic company!

What a fantastic company! If I could give you 10 stars I would! Excellent service, prompt and reliable responses (thank you, Zak!) to any questions or concerns that may come up. Love their GPS tracking unit monitoring and service as it provides me with outstanding peace of mind for keeping track of my vehicle(s) especially while I travel. Super satisfied customer here! Very highly recommended.

Hardware works well

Hardware works well. Software works well but the interface could be tweaked better. App, also works well but is a little clunky. The product description lied about cost of service. It indicates 12.49 per month paid yearly (about 150 per year) but it cost me $200 for one year, paid upfront. Other than the deceptive advertising, it is a good product.

Providing comfort!

The hard wired unit is awesome to stash somewhere, my biggest fear is mice chewing wires not being discovered ever. It has worked flawlessly since installation. Customer service was there when questions came. Only critic would be foreknowledge of when one satellite hands over to another satellite it can trigger a notification like the unit has moved.
Even on the map it will show a distance from one spot to another even while nothing has moved.
After this learning curve, it has made at least 4 sleep easier knowing the coverage on our asset never stops.

Hasn’t been a month yet but I…

Hasn’t been a month yet but I absolutely love it!! As soon as my jetski moves, starts or stops, I get a notification of its precise location via Email, Text & App. Yes it’s a lot of notifications but I don’t mind it because its well worth it, especially if I were to be asleep, it will definitely make me check my phone.

Can you send something on how to…

Can you send something on how to activate the system? An email was supposed to be sent to show how to activate. I have the correct app I think but there isn’t any direction there on how to do it. The QR code scan doesn’t direct to correct instructions.

I have been using Lone Star Tracking…

I have been using Lone Star Tracking for about 4 years now on 3 different vehicles. I currently use 2 trackers and I have to say they are the best at what they do. Especially if you talk to Ryan who is relentless in solving any issues with tailoring the trackers to your specific needs. Most companies want to sell their products. This company backs up their products with outstanding customer service. I assure you if you buy from them you have a excellent team to set you up to protect your valuable assets 24/7 !
